Yesterday the Supreme Court ruled that Christian craft store Hobby Lobby has a legal right to abstain from an Obamacare mandate that violates its religious beliefs about abortion

Former Dancing with the Stars contestant and teen mom Bristol Palin wants her fans to celebrate the victory for religious liberty by shopping at their local Hobby Lobby on Thursday

Palin said she would post the best pictures of her fans shopping at the store to her blog

Reality TV show star Bristol Palin is asking conservatives to celebrate the Supreme Court's landmark contraception mandate decision by participating in a Hobby Lobby Love Day this Thursday.

Shortly after the high court handed down its decision affirming the family-owned company's right to abstain from an Obamacare mandate that violates its religious beliefs, Palin called on her fans to support the Christian craft store by making a special trip to the store on July 3.

'The Supreme Court says that Obama can’t force Hobby Lobby to provide “contraception” that cause abortions. Way to go, Hobby Lobby!!' Palin said in a blog post announcing the nationwide effort.

'We should all go to Hobby Lobby and buy something to celebrate.'

Bristol Palin, pictured here with her son Tripp in a selfie posted to her Facebook account in April, is calling on fellow conservatives to shop at Hobby Lobby on Thursday to show their support for the Christian craft store.

Yesterday the court ruled that Hobby Lobby and other 'closely-held' businesses with religious ties were eligible for exemption from a provision of the health care law that requires companies to provide their employees with health plans that cover 'preventative services' for women....

No, I think she should have WAITED to get pregnant. I thought that was the conservative goal. You’re the one with no moral compass if you’re fan-boying all over this girl merely because she’s Sarah Palin’s daughter. Because if she were Hillary’s kid, you wouldn’t be carrying this flag, and you and I both know it.

Um, you really haven’t paid attention have you. If I recall the timeline correctly; Sarah was happily being a busy effective governor of Alaska, when out of the blue, the McLame camp picks her for the VP slot. And again, if I read the timeline correctly, Bristol was probably already pregnant by that time.

She didn’t go out there to sabotage her mothers VP chances. Hells Bells, the McLame camp and the GOPe did that just fine themselves.

I imagine it would be hard enough for any young woman to have to break such news under normally ordinary circumstances, but to have to do so in the middle of all that, with a world wide microscope peering into every aspect of your life?

Holy shit.

I would love to see you deal with all that at age 19. I really would.

You being perfect and all.

Out of the blue? You really believe that? Sarah Palin had no idea months in advance that she could be a contender for VP? Wow, maybe I've over-estimated her intelligence. But I can tell you that when I was a teenager, I was keenly aware of what getting pregnant out of wedlock would result in. Like I said, you don't have to be perfect to know how that sex leads to babies. That girl did not care.

Dancing with the stars??? I mean come on. This is a girl who likes the spotlight, and boy, she got it. Poor, overwhelmed little thing my foot. Didn't take poor little overwhelmed girl long to sign some contracts and get that green. MM-mm. She's a natural.

You are the one who suggested she should have used birth control. You made no such suggestion that she abstain from pre-marital sex. And I never once suggested that I was a fan of hers. Nor have I defended what she did. That’s not up to me to do. I will not respond to your other accusation, which is without basis. You are clearly an agitator.

Well, my FIRST choice would have been that she abstained, particularly considering the boy she was with. Talk about dating to disoblige the family, this is a girl who aggressively went out and did everything against what her family stood for.

Birth control would have been a distant second choice.

But happily, it all turned out well. Sarah's credibility as a parent and a leader was shot full of holes, and now she is a political pundit and her daughter is doing B-list celebrity stunts and making a name for herself on Dancing with the fricking Stars. I'm glad that you're glad.

I just love Bristol. Every time I see her pretty face I get a smile and can’t wait to hear what she has to share. Her son is so adorable and so much love. I love Sarah but I actually follow Bristol on facebook because she has so many interesting posts and God has raised her up to be a voice for the young. I actually think that Bristol will make a huge impact on this country. Oh and I love to see how much love Bristol and her family have for each other.

You know, you sound like one of those Libtards in their moma’s basement. You know, the ones that went after Sarah in the beginning.

If you truly like Sarah, then you’ll stop trashing her kid. If not, the you’ve just outed yourself as the aforementioned Libtard troll.

Bristol Palin was pregnant before her mother's "opportunity" presented itself. Do you honestly believe that Sarah Palin didn't know that? Do you think she didn't weigh all the ramifications in her decision? You talk as if the whole world threw itself at Sarah's feet, and then eeeeevil no-good Bristol went out and "got herself pregnant" for the sole purpose of gaining attention. I don't know who you think you're preaching to, but it isn't FReepers. You need to stop now before you do irreparable harm to yourself here.

I didn’t know Bristol had an FB page. After this horrible thread, I’m definitely going to friend and follow her. That poor kid - she probably needs guards to keep the nuts away from her.

Yes...I do think Bristol will make a huge impact on this country. Just check out her footprint on social media. I am a middle age mom who follows her. Bristol is the one who started the shop Hobby Lobby day for 8/3. I am attending as well as many of my facebook friends. We shall see what Sarah’s young daughter will accomplish on Thursday

I'm not "trashing" her kid. I'm saying her teen pregnancy helped destroy her mother's chance at VP, and it did. I'm saying she's clearly after the spotlight, and she is. I'm saying she didn't hold her mother's career as a high priority, and she didn't.

That is not "trashing" someone. That is calling it like it is. If you can't deal with it, may I suggest you take up knitting.

I will never be bullied into shutting up. Never. If you don't know that by now you have not been paying attention.

Sarah was a very public figure even before McCain tapped her. Her daughter knew it. Period.

A child who respects and cares about her mother does NOT do the one thing that will destroy her political ambitions. She's campaigning on sexual morals and her teenaged daughter goes right out and gets pregnant? That is sabotage, plain and simple.

Bristol and her family have love for each other?

Is that why she tried to sabotage her mother’s chances for public office?

I’m sure Bristol was young and had issues. Hopefully she’ll make better choices in the future.
