Both sides lined up pretty much as expected over the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson. Social media is full of people on both sides making presumptions, and believing what they want to believe.

I have a drunken white friend who told a cop to let him out of the handcuffs and he’s teach the cop a lesson.
The cop did and my friend lost his front teeth. He says it wasn’t one of his better ideas.
The black community listens to men like Al Sharpton, because who else is standing up for them?? A leadership void is always filled, and if a leader doesn’t show up, a charlatan does.
Do you find something wrong with that statement in Kathleen McKinney’s article? I certainly do. This woman is falling into the same trap as almost all black Americans have. They’re waiting for a LEADER???? Kathleen, leadership starts at home. How about black men staying at home taking care and providing for the children they produce instead of abandoning the baby moms and leaving them to fend for themselves How about black men being around for their sons to teach them right and wrong so they don’t end up stealing cigars and pick a fatal fight with a police officer How about blacks voting for responsible political representation who will stop lining their pockets with special interest money and promote business and job growth in the community. Lastly, how about black people diversifying their political points of view. Giving 90% of your vote to one party limits political discussion and one party rule will only mean more inaction in cities like Chicago and Detroit because the ruling class see that large bloc of guaranteed votes every election cycle and take you for granted. Blacks need to help themselves and pull away from the Democratic Party that has exploited them time and time again.

Any examination of the facts -- the least examination -- points to gangsters killing gangsters, fighting over drug turf on urban street corners, and stray spraying bullets killing the innocent, way too many of them a whole lot younger than 18.

I’m always annoyed by stupid people like Kathleen, who think they’ve achieved some great insight.
Assault isn’t normal teenage behavior, and us white folk take umbridge with it. Further, we take umbridge with having to protect our belongings, our homes, and our women folk from the felonious actions of Kathleen’s black youths. And I say, “Kathleen’s black youths” because she is obviously claiming them as hers.

The difference between this worrisome mother and the welfare moms parenting styles is why this young man was killed by a cop. His mother most likely did not worry about where he was and what he was doing. She was too busy hitting the next party at taxpayer expense.
That same fear runs thru the hearts of white and hispanic and asian moms. The driveby shooters, the 'knock out' and 'baseball bat knockout' gamers don't know that our sons and daughters, and our sisters and brothers and fathers and mothers are stars, either. It's a little hard to gain the sympathy of a population that has been systematically attacked for decades even as they openhandedly pour billions into 'the war on poverty' without first admitting the blacks are just as culpable in creating the current anamosity as any other race.

When challenged he attacks the cop violently and you want us to believe it wasn’t about Michael? WOW!!!

Mothers may not agree but sometimes only a father can relate to his son in a manly way.
I’ll bet none of these teen boys ever had a good ass-kicking or whoopin’ by a loving father. I’m not talking’ about abuse but tough love.

Since the chance of a white person being murdered by a black person is about 22 times higher than the chance of a black person being killed by a white person in the US, I really wonder whether it ought to be the black mother or the white to legitimately feel that “twinge of fear.”
