Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson, who fatally shot unarmed teenager Michael Brown earlier this month, has gone underground since the controversial shooting, but his backers have been coming out in droves and many are showing their support by donating cash online.
Almost $400,000 has been raised on the fundraising site gofundme.com for the six-year police veteran. After the first fundraising drive reached its goal of $234,000, a second page was established and has brought in more than $153,000 in four days. More than 9,000 people combined have contributed to the two fundraising pages....

If the Grand Jury does not find in Wilson’s favor I will be one who will make a donation.
God Bless Darren Wilson.
And all the good people who are contributing.
Given his state of mind based on his actions, he felt like “The Invincible Michael Brown”.
400,000 racist
White Priviledge?
An example of mob rule and a governor who is radical left, ready to convict any cop.
I think the government is going to pull out all the stops to railroad Officer Wilson - all expenses paid, of course, including the best lawyers, “witnesses,” etc.
They lost the Trayvon Martin case and aren’t going to lose this one.
Officer Wilson is going to need all the help he can get from us.
Donated on Saturday.
Please, everyone, I saw donations a low as $5 and as high as $500.
At the very least, Officer Wilson will never work as a PO again.
Please click the link in the posted article to the WP article that includes some of the “racist” comments. They’re all perfectly legitimate and show no racist animus. There’’s no better showing of CBS’ bias than that characterization.
Citing data gathered by the Bureau of Justices Statistics in 2008, the IACP [International Association of Chiefs of Police] said less than 2% of the 40 million people who had contact with police reported the use of force or threatened use of force.
"In large part, the public perception of police use of force is framed and influenced by the media depictions which present unrealistic and often outlandish representations of law enforcement and the policing profession," the group said in a 2012 report."
The article points out that there has never been a comprehensive effort to gather the data needed to prove one way or the other.
So the victim's industry citing it's Black Privilege can freely shout "unrealistic and often outlandish" claims at each and every individual personal tragedy.
Multiply that by ten minimum if he gets indicted for just the locals.....double that again if it is just a civil rights indictment.....if he gets both prbly 20 million to run a defense with appropriate experts and lawyers.
There’s no question this cop will need this much and more for his legal expenses. None at all.
There. Fixed it.
Yeah they are. They just don't know it yet.
The racist comments were coming primarily from Prog shills who were contributing to get access to the contributors comment area after the open comment area had been shut down due to their behavior. Their contributions were returned with a “thanks, but no thanks” note.
Officer Wilson will never work as a PO again.
Probably correct. $400,000 isn’t that much when you think about all the expenses that will be coming up in 3 trials and appeals.
Just transportation, housing and expenses for experts for the defense will be expensive. Investigators for officer Wilson will also be costly.
Even if his legal team waves some of their fees these trials could cost close to a million at a time when officer Wilson isn’t working. I have given twice and probably will dig down deep if officer Wilson is indicted. That’s when the big money will be needed.
I hope you’re right. You have more faith in the system than I do.
I hope he’s not indicted - notice they’re putting off the decision until October. If Officer Wilson is not indicted, it’ll be announced VERY quietly.
Why October? (rhetorical question)
((nothing to do with November 4th, I’m sure))
The cop needs support from normal people. holder and his boss are trying to make his life miserable.
