Hundreds Arrested At White House For Protesting Deportations
Talk Radio News Service ^ | August 28, 2014 | ED ZUCKERMAN

Hundreds of immigration protestors were arrested in front of the White House on Thursday, calling for President Obama to bypass a “do-nothing Congress” and expand deferred action for illegal immigrants.

“People in the Congress don’t want to pass any immigration reform,” said Esteban R., an illegal immigrant from northern Mexico, who has lived in the U.S. for 20 years. “People say that immigrants are taking jobs that Americans need. But that’s not true. It’s racism and hate against Latino people.”

The protestors, many wearing “Casa de Maryland” T-shirts, shouted “Si se puede (Yes we can)”.

The protest began at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement headquarters, moved to the White House and is scheduled until 8:00 p.m. in Lafayette Park.

CASA Maryland, CASA Virginia... they’re all over the US.

Dig just a little into their leadership and associations and the commies come out of the woodwork.

“It's racism and hate against Latino people’’. No you f**king asshole, it's hatred against Latino sumpremists who think that they have some God given divine right to break into my country as if they owned it and myself and millions of my fellow Americans have some damned nerve complaining about it. This is going on thirty or so years of this invasion that is increasing in scope and numbers of illegals breaking in here and like all of you I'm beyond fed up with it. I pity the fool of a candidate of either party who comes knocking around my door come election season, Dem or Repub. because they are going to get with both barrels. I'm not ashamed to say it, hell, I'm proud to say it- I hate Mexico and I hate Mexicans. They have no desire to fix the sh!thole they live in, they scurry over the border like the cockroaches they are overwhelming our hospitals, our schools and all the while hating us. I hate them with a passion.

TALKING POINTS Violent transnational gangs 'recruiting unaccompanied minors at Border Security facilities'
Daily Mail UK ^ | July 27, 2014 | Daily Mail / FR Posted by COUNTrecount

Members of some of the United States' most notorious street gangs have infiltrated shelters housing illegal immigrant minors from Central America and are recruiting them, say Homeland Security sources. An estimated 57,000 minors from Central America have flooded across the border from Mexico to the U.S. in recent months, and gang leaders are reportedly filling their ranks from among them.

Transnational gangs such as the Mara Salvatruca, also known as MS-13, and the 18th Street gang are using established juvenile members from Central America to cross the border and recruit other children to the cartels, say sources. Recruiting drive:

There are reports that gangs are trying to recruit young immigrants from Border Protection facilities where they're being held According to Fox News, Border Control agents have witnessed gang members using a Red Cross phone bank at the facility at Nogales, Arizona, to 'recruit, enlist and pressure' other minors into crossing the border. Shawn Moran, vice president of the National Border Control Patrol Council, a union which represents border agents, says agents have witnessed the recruiting process.

The Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement said earlier this week that they have no knowledge or evidence that gangs are recruiting immigrant minors. (Excerpt) Read more at dailymail.co.uk ...

Eye-opening exchanges on this topic at the recent House Judiciary hearing on immigration.

<><> Patriot Cong Randy Forbes (Rep-VA) said Americans need to know if violent gang members are walking their streets. Forbes asked UCIS--a DHS agency--headed by Obama appointee Leon Rodrigues---whether the agency asked applicants about gang membership---and when they invariably reply no, how does the agency know whether it's true or not?

The calculated Rodriguez would not reveal information---Forbes insisted on knowing "do you even ask them if they're gang members."

<><> Even more interesting was watching brilliant Cong Louie Gohmert (Rep-Tx) set the trap for the oily Rodriguez.

Former judge Gohmert's brilliant circumlocution was awesome. He nailed the mealy-mouth Rodrigues to the wall.

CONG GOHMERT: WRT drug cartels paid up to $10,000 to "guide" the hordes over the border---"Would you, as a former prosecutor, call them criminals?," he nonchalantly asked Gonzales.

The smirking Rodrigues stepped headlong into the trap as Cong Gohmert casually hoisted him on his own petard.....making the point that if the hordes were coming here to escape drug cartels, why is it they consort w/ the criminals, and pay the violent breed to get over the border?

What a small bunch of loud protesters think is totally irrelevant----the MOST important thing is what Americans think.

reuters.com---In town halls, U.S. lawmakers hear voter anger over illegal immigrants / By Gabriel Debenedetti

EXCERPT It has been a question heard repeatedly by lawmakers this month in "town hall" district meetings punctuated - and sometimes dominated - by constituent concerns and angry outbursts over immigration policy and the crisis caused by a flood of child migrants at the southwestern border in recent months.

Those summer town halls have provided lawmakers a first-hand glimpse of growing discontent among Americans over U.S. immigration policy. Seventy percent of Americans - including 86 percent of Republicans - believe undocumented immigrants threaten traditional U.S. beliefs and customs, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted in mid-July.

Those fears have been exacerbated by the recent wave of illegal child migrants from Central America. An issue that had been simmering is now hotting up as voters prepare to go to the polls in congressional elections due in November.

The constituent anger and frustration expressed in the town halls suggests there will be a fierce debate when U.S. lawmakers return to Washington on Sept. 8 and take up proposals to address a flood of child migrants crossing the southwestern U.S. border.

From border states like Texas to less likely hot spots like Oregon, Colorado, and New York, Democratic and Republican lawmakers have heard a steady stream of questions and complaints from voters - most pushing for a crackdown on illegal immigration and some worried about what they see as Washington's inaction.

"CONSTITUENT ANGER IS PALPABLE" "I hear it everywhere I go," said Oregon Republican Greg Walden, who travels the country in his role as chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee. "The anger is palpable," Hensarling, a six-term conservative congressman who is often identified by colleagues as a possible next Speaker of the House, told Reuters.

Local media reported police were called to a meeting in Hollister, California hosted by Democratic Rep. Sam Farr after an audience member shouted at Farr and the crowd about the dangers posed by the child migrants. A town hall hosted by Democrat Jared Polis of Colorado featured constituents shouting at Polis and each other, and applauding those who contradicted him, on a range of issues, most prominently immigration, a local newspaper said

"We've had seven town halls, and immigration is the number one issue that comes up," Polis told Reuters.

National Democrats believe roughly two dozen House districts could see immigration play a role in November’s result, and pundits frequently point to Colorado’s competitive Senate race as the likeliest immigration battleground.

But the candidates in that contest have sparred over other issues, and Republican Cory Gardner earlier this month voted with a mostly Democratic bloc not to repeal Obama’s 2012 measure providing a stay of deportations to young undocumented migrants.

"I wonder when the Mexicans will storm the White House."

REMEMBER THE WHITE HOU....oops, THE ALAMO (silly me) !

With usual journalistic acumen, the article failed to state the grounds for the "hundreds arrested at the White House". The reason given doesn't hold water. If the protestors had a permit, they couldn't be arrested for protesting.

Were the arrests for "no permit"? For "failure to disburse"? For "littering"?

The only thing we know for sure is "the hundreds" sure as heck weren't arrested for being in this country illegally.
