I used to be a big J.C. Penney shopper. I’m 6’5”, and JCP used to have a good selection of tall clothing. Their stores have turned to shit. I never go there anymore. I buy almost everything online now, or at Fry’s. The only time I go to a mall is to get my wife some perfume for Christmas.
I know what you’re saying about size selection.
I’ve found that smaller sizes are hard to come by these days. If you wear XL, XXL, XXXL, or even XXXXL in some cases, you can find plenty.
A Penneys salesgirl told me if I find something I like in a small, I should grab it now and bring it back later if I have to, because they’re heading toward the larger sizes. But like you, I think Penneys’ merchandise has taken a nose dive...I don’t go there anymore.
