I know what you’re saying about size selection.

I’ve found that smaller sizes are hard to come by these days. If you wear XL, XXL, XXXL, or even XXXXL in some cases, you can find plenty.

A Penneys salesgirl told me if I find something I like in a small, I should grab it now and bring it back later if I have to, because they’re heading toward the larger sizes. But like you, I think Penneys’ merchandise has taken a nose dive...I don’t go there anymore.

Years ago I was told the same by a sales gal at TJMaxx. She was right. GRAB IT!

Yes, last time I was in JCP 's Big/Tall section, there was plenty of big (i.e. fat) sizes; little to no tall sizes. And they have converted the stores into that 'boutique' style, where clothes are sorted by brand. They may have fired the loser CEO, but stayed with his ideas.
