The iPhone 5c would be my go-to for calls, but not so much for the other apps.

I checked out the Apple Pay (That whole Apple Live was a mini-disaster). I’m taking a wait-and-see with that.

The iPhone can be a mobile WIFI hotspot for your iPad, or your WIFI on a laptop, sharing data bandwidth. Works great.
