Americans Die, Obama Lies, GOP Hides

The news that another American child has died from the Enterovirus 68 epidemic sweeping our country’s schools and childcare facilities, and that an American health care worker has contracted the Ebola virus IN AMERICA should make every American voter demand that President Obama close our borders to travelers from countries where those diseases are endemic.

It should be a natural alliance for Republicans – who claim to be the Party of people outside the Washington Beltway – to join with frightened airline workers, parents and health care workers to demand border security and immigration policies that protect them. And it should prompt every Republican candidate for the United States Senate and House of Representatives to demand an end to the Obama administration’s lies about the health threats facing our country due to Obama’s open borders policies.

All of these should be no-brainer campaign issues for Republicans, but so far it hasn’t happened.

Instead, Republicans seem to have gotten suckered into a debate over who was responsible for the creation of the “sequester” budget reduction policy and whether or not the Centers for Disease Control was somehow hobbled in doing its job because of the sequester.

Please get with it Republicans. It’s not the budget, it’s Obama’s policies and appointees who have opened our borders and lied about where these deadly diseases come from and how they are transmitted.

More from article:

Ten days ago Ross was among 27 Members of Congress, including Democrats Alan Grayson and Kyrsten Sinema, who signed a letter calling on Obama to impose heightened restricts on travelers arriving from Ebola hotspots Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia.

The letter was for the most part a politely worded Washington exercise in political discourse, but one paragraph did attract our attention:

You [President Obama] have suggested that you will not take such action [closing our borders to Ebola hotspots] until the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends it. We specifically call on you not to “pass the buck” on this crucial issue.

The WHO is an organization of unelected bureaucrats and political appointees of foreign countries. It has no duty to protect the lives and well-being of Americans, as you do.  Furthermore, it has utterly failed to stem this epidemic through its own actions. The responsibility for this decision is yours, not theirs.”

It is time Republicans stopped hiding and started campaigning on the issues that Americans really care about and border security and health security and ending Obama’s culture of lies, are at the top of the list in the middle of two deadly epidemics brought about by the President’s open borders policies and his arrogant and corrupted-by-politics bureaucracy

Someone remind me again why I’m supposed to mindlessly pull the lever for Republicans come November.

Back in 94 there was a hell of a conservative victory.
It was because of the “contract for America” an actual platform for people to vote FOR!
Two years later Bob GOPe Dole put a quick end to it.
There were victory's where Clinton went along and the economy boomed, the biggest failure of the Conservatives back then was to not to come through on promised term limits.

Now republican establishment weakness only signals a promise to cave to Dems. Whoopee! I can hardly wait to vote. </sarcasm>

Maybe we need a 3rd Party—Liberty Party. Let Liberty ring throughout the land. Like the UKIP it could become the new 2rd Party—unless the GOP strangles it in its crib.
