Too much heat on the Dallas Hospital. It was going to bankrupt the hospital for a variety of reasons. Had to turn the attention away from Dallas before it was too late for the hospital to recover from all the negative press, IMO.
If these women survive, they are two more people, possibly two more blood types, that can be used to cure others.
