Jackie Kennedy believed Lyndon Johnson killed JFK
Communities Digital News ^ | October 18, 2014 | Richard Cameron

It has been widely reported that Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, widow of President John F. Kennedy, shared with family members she was certain that Kennedy’s Vice President Lyndon Baines Johnson, arranged to have her husband murdered.

Soon that conclusion will be heard in the late First Lady’s own words, because audio tapes, recorded of discussions with historian and close family associate, Arthur Schlesinger Jr., between March and June 1964, will be released and excerpts featured on an upcoming ABC News program in November marking the 50th anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in Dallas.

The tapes, which insiders describe as featuring Ms. Kennedy’s disclosures of J.F.K.’s affairs and her romantic liaisons in retaliation, also reportedly reveal her conviction that L.B.J., with a cabal of associates and Texas businessmen, orchestrated the plot culminating in the Kennedy assassination. This is in contrast to the account of these interviews in Barbara Leaming’s biography of Ms.Kennedy, “The Winter of Her Despair”.

The establishment theory of the Kennedy assassination, arguably the most controversial event in American history, is dubbed the “lone gunman”. It is the conclusion of the Warren Report, commissioned by newly sworn in Lyndon Johnson and chaired by then Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Earl Warren.

It concludes that Kennedy was shot by Lee Harvey Oswald, a disturbed ex-Marine who had exhibited erratic actions and behavior and that Oswald shot the President from the 6th floor of the Dallas Book Depository building....

There is no evidence-zip, zero, nada-that anyone other than that loser Oswald was involved.

The government said otherwise, about 16 years after the assassination.

LBJ & Hoover didn’t like each other. Johnson tried to have Hoover eased out as FBI director and when he realized it was going to be too difficult, LBJ muttered, “well, it’s probably better to have him inside the tent p***ing out, than outside p***ing in”.

Why not equate them? They both involve gullible people that believe in such nonsense.

Good post ‘stob. I can’t believe anyone could be so stupid to believe the ‘Hickey theory’. Besides your points, ask this one: Where did the single empty 5.56x45 case ejected from AR-15 upon the weapon’s firing land? The answer of course: Empty brass didn’t ‘land’ anywhere.....as one/none was never ejected from the weapon. (Oh but I got it!!! The case ejected up onto a bird flying overhead, nobody ever found it!!!!.................)

You mean the Select Committee on Assassinations? Is that the one that based all their conclusions on a bogus Dictabelt recording?

“In 2003, ABC News aired the results of its investigation on a program called Peter Jennings Reporting: The Kennedy Assassination: Beyond Conspiracy. Based on computer diagrams and recreations done by Dale K. Myers, it concluded that the sound recordings on the Dictabelt could not have come from Dealey Plaza, and that Dallas Police Officer H.B. McLain was correct in his assertions that he had not yet entered Dealey Plaza at the time of the assassination.”

Considering how many people the Clinton’s have had killed over the years, of course it’s probable that LBJ is like El BJ.

Hoover eventually got control over LBJ over the civil rights and anti-war movements. LBJ was convinced the commies were behind both, and had Hoover spy on them. Of course that was how Hoover worked. Once he got someone in bed with him engaging in some illegal act, he had them.

The only one who really held this off was Nixon. He set up his own group to do such things so he would not be in debt to Hoover (the ‘Plumbers” as they were called.) It really PO’d Hoover, and most people feel it was him that ratted out the Plumbers at the Watergate Hotel.

“May I remind you that B. H. Obola won in 2012 despite EVEN MORE unpopular policies. Shows the power of the incumbancy.”

While I was young at the time, may I remind you that the average American voter in 1964 was one heck of a lot smarter than the average voter today.

(I’m fairly certain I have scrapped more intelligent beings off the bottom of my shoe than the average voter today.)

Because they’re not the same.

Nice insult. You’re the one accepting a narrative that’s convenient like the neo-Marxists do, in order to avoid thinking too hard.

Before you accuse me of having leftist sympathies, I don’t give a damn about JFK or LBJ, except that one was a rapacious weak airhead and the other started us on the fast track to societal decline.

The whole “Oswald was a lone Commie nut” thing doesn’t even fit the MO. All you have to do is look at the types of assassins described by the FBI’s behavioral studies to know that. Which is based off of empirical evidence, of course.

I have always believed LBJ orchestrated JFKs assasination, and that Oswald was not the only shooter.

Stephen Hunter wrote a book “The Third Bullet,” which though a work of fiction (starring Bob Lee Swagger), explores the second shooter theory with a CIA connection. It is a great read!

Hoover died in May 1972. How was he involved in the Nixon reelection campaign?

Correct! Oswald did it alone. All other conspiracies are just baseless fodder.
