The Harris Country pct 4 commissioner Jack Cagel is a great man and a solid conservative. I don’t know if he will ever run for higher office, but he is another who is capable of Ted Cruz type behavior.

You would think so — and not just in Texas.
It’s frustrating that so few good candidates make it onto the ballot. Particularly for POTUS.
I have called Senator Cornyn’s office twice this month. The second time his staffer was very sweet, but I felt like I was being fed the same line (in Texas, line = bs) that our President has been feeding us. The staffer told me that people from Sierra Leone and Liberia fly through Europe to get to the USA so that it would be almost impossible to stop them from coming to the USA. What? I thought that was why governments give or deny a VISA. I also told the staffer that Cornyn does not have passion. It is sad when a Republican Senator from Texas could be confused with a Democrat.
