Catch a wave and you’re sitting on top of the world

republican-wave2

The GOP absolutely smashed democrats on Tuesday. Although some persist in denying it, it's a wave. Come with me and let's ride the wave. Surf's up, dude!

The epiphanies

Chris Matthews: Obama lives in his own world:

MSNBC host Chris Matthews expressed dismay over President Obama’s post-election press conference on Wednesday, calling him entirely deaf to the millions of Americans who voted against his plan to grant executive amnesty for as many as 6 million illegal immigrants.

“The people, if you look at the polling, their problem is illegal immigration,” he said. “He says, ‘I’m going to fix the problem.’ He doesn’t mean he’s gonna stop illegal immigration. He’s not going to do anything to stop illegal hiring, which is the magnet for illegal immigration, really. He’s going to basically say, ‘I’m going to deal with them by giving them green cards.’”

“What bothered me about him tonight — he keeps talking about common ground,” Matthews said. “Damnit, there’s very little common ground between left and right! But what there is, is compromise.”

Six years later Chuck Todd discovers Obama's inability to accept blame for anything

Amazing? No. What's amazing is that it took Chuck six years to figure it out.

Matthews again

“The fact that this President is getting advice from people that say, ‘You’re always right,’ is the problem,” Matthews opined. “He’s got too many sycophants around him telling him, ‘All you have to keep doing is what you’re doing.’”

No no no no no no. Matthews still doesn't get it. It doesn't matter what they say to Obama. Obama knows best. He really does think he's the smartest man on the planet. He thinks he is infallible.

The left wing racism

Mia Love hit with racist slurs

"Let the tokenization begin" says Keshema Davidson

"Act White And Conquer" says Frank J Miles

This is Tim Scott, the Senator-elect of South Carolina

He's not black enough, say liberals. Just because he's black and got elected in South Carolina doesn't mean progress, says the legitimately and properly black James Clyburn.

That's Clyburn on the left, just in case you weren't able to notice that Clyburn is the real black guy.

How is this election wave different from the democrat election wave that gave them control of both chambers of congress in 2008?

Or from the one in 2010? Which may as well not have happened two years later?

Too many waves spoil the ocean.

Theater. Pure theater (without tangible and immediate action).

If Obama is no longer sending thrills up Chrissy Matthews’ leg then I suspect he is in real trouble...
