BREAKING NOW: Darren Wilson will not be charged with a crime in the shooting death of Michael Brown, according to the grand jury decision released this evening. This was first reported by Don Lemon of CNN and USA Today.
Darren Wilson shot and killed Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in August.
Now discredited witnesses at first stated that Brown was shot and killed as he ran away or with his hands in the air, saying, “Hands up, don’t shoot.” These same witnesses also said that Brown and Wilson did not struggle in Wilson’s police car before hand.
Since then, forensic evidence and other witnesses have disproved these statements. But these have not stopped the protests in Ferguson that erupted because of them.
