Please pray for my uncle. This is a shock and the outcome looks dire.
Adding your Dad and family to my prayers.
Thoughts and prayers sent
Tell your family to never give up, my mother had a stroke a few years ago and the initial prognosis was dire due to the bleeding in the brain and the pressure thereof, that she would never recover and at best she would be a vegetable if she even lived. We kept praying and going into her room and whispering positive things in her ear and she did recover, not 100%, she needs help getting around, and her mind did recover about 85% or 90%, she does have some memory problems, but good enough that she can hold a conversation and is lucid and lives a good life. But the thing is this, she claims that even though she couldn’t move or make any responses to anyone’s words while she was in a coma, she says she could hear everything that was said in her room and everything that was whispered in her ear and that was what helped her gain the strength to recover from her coma. She claims that for her recovery was a decision, that she could have packed it in and checked out for good but she decided to come out of the coma. Make sure your family, in addition to prayers, gives your uncle words encouragement, he’ll hear them and appreciate them and gain strength from them.
Hi, his name is Bill, like you!
Thank you all for your wonderful response. God bless you all.
Father God,
Thank You, that You gave Your Son, Jesus Christ, to be the atonement of our sins. By His stripes we were made whole. May the Holy Spirit surge through this man’s mind, healing every blood vessel, every nerve, every brain cell.
Matthew 18:19 says “I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven”
We are in agreement for total healing of OILine Rebel’s uncle.
Praise be to Jesus Christ, Who gives the victory! In His Holy Name we pray. Amen.
Prayers up for your family.
We pray this prayer for the father of proud American in Canada also
Prayers sent to the Great Physician in Heaven for your uncle, the O1Line Rebel. May the Good Lord give wisdom to the medical staff and healing to the body and comfort for your family
I will keep your uncle in my prayers!
Oiline Reb, quick story, I have an attorney friend who went to the hospital via life flight from his office in early 2014. Spent approximately 40 days in and out of a coma with the last 20 odd days involving the docs trying to get his daughter to “pull the plug, he has no chance and his brain likely will never function properly”. She said not no but hell no and stuck to her guns. He pulled out. 30 days later went back to work and now is doing fine.
So, hang in there and don’t give up. If talking to his daughter would help you in any way, I would be glad to arrange it. The document she would not sign is referred to as a DNR which down here stands for Do Not Resucitate.

Prayers up. Some great responses on this thread.
Ghastly and on Christmas. There is never a good time, though. Prayers up. My husband is beside his dying mother’s bedside tonight as well; holidays are no guarantee of health and safety. Sad sad sad.
Praying for your family,
Prayers up.
