I made a mistake - “good Bible quote”. Duh, EVERY Bible quote is a good Bible quote.
Of course I meant to say relevant/fitting/appropriate/etc Bible quote.
We drove to the place and I told him to the car keep the car running and the passenger door open. I stuck an old S&W Model 10 in my belt, walked up to the door and kicked the damned thing open. The place went silent, I walked straight through the crowd, slung sister over my shoulder and hauled her back to the car kicking and screaming.
Daddy was all worried that the cops would come after us, I told him not to sweat it. Next day one of my cop buddies told me "I heard about last night, the undercover guys told me that was the prettiest damned thing they'd ever seen".
Jessica needed a big brother, or someone, and they didn't come.

People are sick of black thugs... all of us...
now those are good cops.
Unfortunately, IMO, most will enforce the law on those who are sick of this ghetto crime and decide to go on the offensive.

IIRC, the law calls such accomplices. Well, that was the case before Urban Ferals were elected to the White Mosque and all too many other offices.
Meth and Crack drug business has compromised law enforcement throughout the ex-urban parts of the country. Meth is the drug of choice among the lower-end whites, and Crack that of the lower-end blacks. However, anything is available. Mississippi, Georgia, Maine, Maryland ... no state is immune. Add to that the phenomenal amounts made from marijuana cultivation.
That law enforcement is complicit in all this goes without saying. The only question is how far up the chain of command does the rot in your county go.

That was long ago. We used to shoot chicken killing and cow and calf killing dogs along with rabid dogs.
People get too tied up with thoughts like racial crime or police corruption when neither are apparent or even need to be true.
A fair percentage (I believe around 20%) of crimes go unsolved simply because no body talks. When the rich white girl was killed in Detroit recently, the surviving victims (her friends) immediately lied to police in an attempt to cover up the fact that they were in the hood looking for drugs.
A few years ago a case from 40 odd years ago was solved by a deathbed confession from a killer. Back in the 70s a 15year old girl disappeared without a trace and that was that. Then in 2008 or so the killer confessed that he found her walking on a dark country road, raped and killed her then hid her body. He went on with his life and was never suspected. Without his confession no remains would have ever been found and the case would have never been solved.
