Fewer than 22,000 cases have been reported and new cases are approaching zero.
“Impossible?” I predicted it and repeated it over and over, in multiple major publications. In August I predicted the forthcoming hysteria in one of America’s highest-circulation newspapers, the New York Post. The next month, in the science and medical journal Inference, I explained in tremendous detail why the predictions were clearly false even when they first appeared. Weeks later Forbes ran my article “Despite World Panic, The Rate of New Ebola Infections Is Already Slowing Down.”

I will repeat what I have been saying all along, we needed to use this situation to prepare for future biological attacks, and real pandemics.
The only value is if we make these preparations permanent, we need to be prepared to get things going within a day or two, not get caught flat footed like we did in Dallas, and find out that no one was prepared at all for bio terrorism.

People with bad judgement made silly predictions, we had threads talking about 140 million dead American, 75% of the world’s population, that our troops were going to die and bring back Ebola to wipe out masses and deciamte the military, that we should never have allowed sick Americans to come home for treatment because it would kill us all, conspiracies and devious government plans, concentration camps, etc..................

The three nations (Guinnea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone) have a combined population of about 22 million. Ebola has only infected about one tenth of one percent of that population. There still remains plenty of opportunity for the Ebola virus to find new victims. It is nowhere near being burnt out.
The current pool of active cases is estimated at approximately 1000. The number of new persons infected per day has been declining over the past few weeks. However, as of today, the size of the active cases pool is growing by about 4 persons per day. (Assuming that the average case lasts about 12 days from infection to either death or recovery.)
For Ebola to be “over” the size of the active cases pool has to shrink. Right now, it is still growing.
It wasn’t just here. the U.S. news media had a lot of Americans in a panic over an ebola epidemic in the USA. Funny that no one noticed how the ebola media coverage coincided with the election. People still trust the news media even on this forum.
How many Americans have ebola as a %? is there a threat of an ebola epidemic ? NO there never was. The news media lied and fooled you . notice after the election the massive media coverage of ebola was over. the media can get almost everyone talking about anything they want . what is it now , deflated footballs in a football game the media have everyone talking about . that is getting a million times more coverage that your ebola. wake up. the media is the enemy and the puppet masters.
The coverage would have helped republicans, and the coverage faded away naturally, since nothing was happening.

I work with the public and everywhere people were talking about ebola and believing it was a threat, just like everything the media decides to make the topic . Even at the gym i overheard people talking about it.what is it this week “underinflated footballs in a football game” ?
