If only there was a vaccine to treat left wing hypocrisy

Boy, if it wasn't for hypocrisy there would be no such thing as a liberal.

Jonathan Stewart, master of finding the front of a parade, blasted Rand Paul last night about something Paul said about vaccinations:

"But your choice puts other people in jeopardy — just ask a doctor," Stewart said.

He cut to Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), an ophthalmologist, who said on Monday that he'd heard of cases of normal children who "wound up with profound mental disorders after vaccines."

"Oh, for f**k's sake," the host said with a sigh. "Perhaps we should not have asked Dr. Rand Paul, who's 'heard things.'"

"He's star of the hit medical drama 'Dr. Paul: Anecdote Man,'" Stewart said.

Yet it was Stewart himself who, when speaking to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about the link between vaccinations and autism, had this to say:

"Where there's smoke, there's fire."

So Stewart was one of the "vaccines cause autism" idiots. David Freddoso called Stewart the "douchebag of vaccination."

Now, let's cut to the CDC. Here is a list of possible severe untoward reactions to the DPT vaccine:

•Serious allergic reaction (less than 1 out of a million doses)
• Several other severe problems have been reported after DTaP vaccine. These include:
◦ Long-term seizures, coma, or lowered consciousness
◦Permanent brain damage.

These do qualify as "profound mental disorders", Stewart. And I have seen it happen.

We've already noted that both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama hedged their bets about vaccination.

The NY Times sank so low in blaming conservatives for the vaccination brouhaha that not even left wing liberal Matt Lauer could stand it.

The Times said:

“The vaccination controversy is a twist on an old problem for the Republican Party.”

Lauer responded:

“Let’s make it clear: This does not break down neatly between the right and the left. There are pockets of liberal affluent America where parents don’t want kids vaccinated.”

Joy Behar proved that the prerequisites to being a part of The View don't include having a brain:

Treat it? What’s needed is a vaccine to prevent it. But, liberalism is a mental illness though.

How come the Amish are so healthy, do not use vaccinations and do not have the problems that us “normal” people have.

The phrase “left-wing hypocrisy” is redundant.

Thank you for referencing that article Starman417. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Both the left and right wings are either clueless, or are ignoring that the states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate intrastate healthcare which reasonably includes the power to require mandatory immunization for children, the states uniquely having the 10th Amendment (10A)-protected power to do so where intrastate issues are concerned.

But also consider the following about constitutionally unchecked 10A-protected state power to require mandatory immunization. Probably not having learned a lesson about constitutionally unchecked state powers from the Terri Schiavo case, I’ll bet that concerned parents have not worked with state lawmakers to make laws to protect their children from unnecessary mandatory immunization by the states. So parents would probably be in an uphill legal battle with their states, imo, with respect to mandatory child immunization by the states.

And for the record, I support state-mandated vaccination in the case of a potentially injuring or deadly disease outbreak, the lesser of two evils with respect to experimental vaccines imo, as opposed to precautionary vaccinations when there are concerns about the safety of a vaccination.

Again, concerned parents need to learn a lesson from Terri Schiavo’s death and start working with their state lawmakers to make laws which protect their children with respect to constitutionally unchecked 10th Amendment power to require mandatory immunization.

But remember, parents are also still going to be fighting the feds concerning such issues until patriots wake up and exercise their voting muscle to poltically “force” the unconstitutionally big federal government back into its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited power cage. (Note that the feds “escaped” their Section 8 cage in the first place probably as a consequence of the ill-conceived 17th Amendment.)

Where did you get the idea that the Amish were immune to all these illnesses and "problems?"

Very simple ... remove the protection against being sued from the government and vaccine companies for all vaccinations and mandate $10 million for deaths and $100 million for disabled persons as a result of a vaccine (if challenged by a trial the government or vaccine company must prove that the vaccine didn’t cause the death or disability by a unanimous jury decision).

I wonder if a brain transplant would help?
