King Abdullah, Another Shining Star in our Fight Against Radical Islam
Canada Free Press ^ | 02/06/15 | Lt. Col. Bill Connor

Posted on 02/06/2015 11:11:10 AM PST by Sean_Anthony

Will American leadership finally declare radical Islam the enemy and act decisively to win? King Abdullah is leading the way and the time to act is now.

“He (King Abdullah) said there is going to be retribution like ISIS hasn’t seen. He mentioned ‘Unforgiven’ and he mentioned Clint Eastwood, and he actually quoted a part of the movie—‘Any man I see out there, I’m gonna kill him. Any son of a # takes a shot at me, I’m not only going to kill him I’m going to…’”—Rep. Duncan Hunter Jr. (R-CA) referring to King Abdullah of Jordan after learning of Jordanian pilot Kasasbeh being burned alive

The Islamic State (IS) crossed a new threshold of barbarity beyond the beheading videos we have become accustomed to when IS terrorists burned-to-death Jordanian pilot Lieutenant Moaz al Kasasbeh and filmed the horrendous act. In quick response, Jordan’s King Abdullah ordered two IS terrorists hung the next morning. He quickly left his meetings in Washington, D.C. to fly back to Jordan and lead the Jordanian military response against IS.

King Abdullah has quickly become the face of the fight against our enemy, radical Islam, and yet many Americans know almost nothing of the man or Jordan’s critical role in the region.

I’d like to shed some light.

I’ve got a man-crush for His Highness.
Maybe it’s really a case of leader envy.

Abdullah attended Georgetown University. Certainly the Jesuits do not run a madrassa there.

Also, his mother, whose maiden name was Gardiner, was an upper-class Brit. Her father was a top general in the British Malaysian colony.

Abdullah is very much a throw-back to a different time of rule in the Arab world. As good as he is, he is very much the exception.

We need in U.S. a president with balls as big as Jordan King Abdullah’s.

King Abdullah bin Al-Hussein of Jordan. The Warrior King

kinghussein.gov ^

We need a President like this, from the King’s website:
In 1980, King Abdullah entered the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, where he received his military education.

King Abdullah attended Oxford University in 1984, undergoing a one-year Special Studies course in International Politics and World Affairs. Upon returning home, His Majesty continued his military path, gaining experience and working his way to the rank of Captain and the Commander of a Tank Company in the 91st Armored Brigade. From 1986-1987, also as Captain, His Majesty was attached to the Royal Jordanian Air Force’s Helicopter Anti-Tank Wing as a Tactics Instructor, where he received qualification as a Cobra Attack Helicopter Pilot.

In 1987, King Abdullah attended the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and was in residence as a Mid-Career Fellow. He undertook Advanced Study and Research in International Affairs under the auspices of the Master of Science in Foreign Service Program.

Upon returning home, His Majesty was assigned to the 17th Tank Battalion, 2nd Royal Guards Brigade and in the summer of 1989, he became Battalion 2nd-in-Command, with the rank of Major. In 1991, King Abdullah was the Armor Representative in the Office of the Inspector General. He was promoted to Lt. Colonel at the end of the year and assumed command of the 2nd Armored Car Regiment in the 40th Brigade.

Upon handing over the battalion in January 1993, King Abdullah was promoted to full Colonel and assigned as deputy commander of the Jordanian Special Forces. In June 1994 he was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General, and assumed command of the Royal Jordanian Special Forces, after having served as Deputy Commander for six months. His Majesty was appointed Commander of the Special Operations Command on October 1997, and in May 1998, he was promoted to the rank of Major General.

Quite a contrast, Muslim King Abdullah was educated in Western Universities and he shows respect for western values. Obama, also Muslim by birth, was educated as Muslim in Indonesia and while in American universities he choose as his mentors Marxist and haters of the American values because they were not in compliance with the “holy “ Koran and his Marxist principles.

He knows he has to act ... because ISIS is coming after him, too! Let’s hope that this turns a lot of heads of state, rulers and kings away from this radical terrorism, which they seemed to tolerate before. It’s good “the fight is on”!

>As good as he is, he is very much the exception.<

.
Wow, I am so glad you brought that up.

A Muslim, in order to be a devout one, must follow the Koran.

Now read the Koran and what it has to say about the infidel.

Just like pregnancy, a good Muslim cannot just be a little bit Islamic and disregard what the Koran has to say about Jews and Christians.

A good Muslim must hate Christians and Jews. Sorry, but that’s what the Koran says.

The Bible says things that Christians today no longer follow, as they say it no longer applies today. At some point in time Muslims will dispense with certain parts that they will say (just as Christians do) ... “This no longer applies to us today!”

Funny, the only ones who seem to think that way are non-Muslims acting as apologists for Muslims. I’ve never heard any Muslim campaigning to dispense with any part of the Koran. Probably because they would get beheaded for that kind of talk.

Here in the USA (since I live in the USA) there are Muslims and Muslim organizations who are working on that very thing! And it’s NOT CAIR, either ... :-) ...

That’s been going on several years that I’m aware of.

And just like it was with Christianity, and its checkered past with certain Christian groups, it takes hundreds of years to work some of these things out. It will be a “process” with Muslim groups, too.

OH ... one more thing about that ... just like Christians do, they won’t dispense with certain parts of their writings ... but will keep them, simply saying (as Christians do) that they were not in error or wrong “for the time they were applicable” ... they are just not applicable now.

Christians don’t “dispense” with these parts as if they shouldn’t be there or that they were wrong in the first place. They just say it is correct for “that time” ... but not now!

Are you saying that we shall have peace between watered-down Christians, who only selectively accept the Bible, and watered-down Muslims who only selectively accept the contents of the Koran?

We shall have a selective peace — a piecemeal peace.

And what about the majority of Muslims who believe that one cannot be a good Muslim and not hate Christians and Jews?

Seen the pictures of Muslims in the streets carrying placards saying that “Islam will rule the world”? You think they will all dry up and blow away?

Dream on.

Now you’re talking.

Christians could easily rule the world, without having to grovel before their enemies, if they had Christian leaders willing to preserve their religion.
