Sorry,...I confused the title with The Homesman.

The Kingsman looks intriguing.

The female backside exposes nothing you don’t see on beaches. Fits quite well in the movie. Great fun, great ride.

In a recent Colin Firth film, Gambit, Alan Rickman’s unclothed, truly impressive rear view is shown. Love that film for that part (so to speak) alone.

No thanks. I don’t see movies featuring Samuel L. Jackass.

Just came from seeing it. It was good not great. They sped up the fight scenes with Firth too fast. Think they were compensating for his age and slowness during filming.

Alright, enough of that!
:-)
Whatever, a date with me and the wife seeing an “adult” moving with no kids! I will take it!

Yeah yeah! LIke I told someone else. As long as it gets me and my wife out to see a movie minus the kids, I am good with it!

I heard a radio review that said Christians are stereotyped as villains in this movie.

Was it Hillary’s but The? Because that’s the only one that would offend. Or maybe Michelle’s.

Stereotyped is hardly sufficient. Christians are portrayed as evil anti-semitic, racist bigots, and don’t forget the homophobia. Gratuitous violence with a strong undercurrent of anti-Christian homosexual agenda would be more correct.

Yes, the ‘church’ was more a Westboro farce, but they were able to combine moral truths (pro life sentiments and condemnation of homosexuality) with bigotry. And the cute rear end was another not-so-subtle jab that even heterosexual men prefer sodomy to true sexual relations.

I went with few expectations, but the gratuitous ‘comic’ violence and the anti-religious themes detracted from what could have been a decent movie. The only thing keeping the movie from completing following the liberal meme was a villain who was ultimately an anti-human leftist.

Trying to please (or offend) all, my ultimate opinion was that Kingsman joins a long list of action-comedy movies that succeeded in neither category. I thought it would be Spy Kids for adults, but it turned out more like James Bond does Kill Bill.

It does if you consider the "Westboro Baptist Church" to be christian.

So, for you, the movie ended on a bum note?

Ya know I appreciate the female anatomy and don’t mind a glimpse in a movie. Just the whole setup was a sour note, like it came from no where and didn’t fit in the movie .... for me.

OK, bringing this back because I just watched it on Bluray last night.

What made the movie for me was what happened to Dear Leader and his entire cabinet. I didn’t see Slow Joe in the room but hopefully he was there...

Yes, the Kentucky church scene had some elements of anti-Christianity, but they also portrayed global warming advocates as evil elites bent on humanity’s death.

For an action movie, this had Freeper-style political leanings!

I'll bump it again because it just hit Redbox this past week.

Wife and I just finished it and we both thought it was thoroughly entertaining.

I'd strongly recommend it to any adults looking for good, over-the-top action and humor. It was very well done.

Not for the kids though. It was rated 'R' for good reason.
