The Walker Dead
EEE | 27 MARCH 2015 | EEE

Posted on 03/27/2015 9:44:54 AM PDT by Extremely Extreme Extremist

I will not support anyone that supports amnesty. I am a big fat idiot, bashing Cruz all this time while Walker is hanging out with the AZ Chamber of Cronies and telling folks at a dinner in NH that he still supports a pathway to citizenship (amnesty). Once again we get lied to. Damn this is like a kick to the gut.

I’m with you; I find some redeeming qualities in many of the potential candidates: Cruz, Walker, Paul, Perry, Rubio (in that order). I’d sooner vote for any of them than the GOP-e choices are not any different from the liberals (Jeb, Crispy, King, etc.).

This isn’t for you EEE, you’ve made up your mind. However other readers deserve the truth of his position, his own words

I’ll pick one, ethanol:

+++

Walker on ethanol, March 7, 2015

“While I do not support the mandate, I do not have a problem with ethanol...”

“However, it is clear to me that a big government mandate is not the way to support the farmers of this state...”

“Central planning will not help our family farmers, protect our environment, or provide jobs..”

“The free enterprise system must drive innovation to relieve our dependence on foreign oil, not mandates from the state or federal government.”

Then what CAN we do with 20-odd million (I’m guessing far more) illegals?

Round up every last one of them and ship them out? Sounds good, until you consider the nightmarish logistics and staggering cost. And imagine the howl when you tear madre y padre away from their citizen children (times a few million).

I hate to say it, but SOME course of making them somehow legal is the only sensible way. Just granting them citizenship is NOT an option, oh hell no, but we need a better way than a full National Guard deployment with cattle cars in every major city.

And I’ve been wondering ... why does the Chamber of Commerce support amnesty, in their drive for cheap labor, when ALL of the workers MUST receive at least minimum wage? Do they pay less than minimum?

We forgive you. Its easy to get suckered. Mitt Romney has managed to fool a lot of Freepers that he is severely conservative. He’s not a bad guy he’s just not a conservative.

blow it out your anus... Bash Jeb... bash rubio... bash any other establishment candidate..

I have been bashing Jeb, Rubio and Christie, where the Hell have you been?

Walker has been the governor of the state I live in. He has been honest about his intentions.. He has done exactly what he said he was going to do (and nothing more)...

I live in WI too. I have defended Walker to the hilt, even his past support of amnesty when he vowed to put border security first. I still admire Walker and like the job he's done in WI. But this dinner in NH completely blew the lid off of this façade now that he's running for President. How can any politician, especially a Republican, support amnesty for law-breaking and criminal foreign invaders? It just doesn't make sense.

He crushed some of our most vile enemies...

He did, no one is denying this.

They need to go home. All of them. I'm sorry, but illegal aliens are not America's problem.

Typical leftist strawman. You enforce existing laws and militarize the border, the majority of them will simply go home.

You’re kidding right?

Eisenhower got rid of millions of illegals by getting serious about enforcing the law. (Back then they didn’t get today’s benefits.)

If employers hire illegals they already don’t care too much about obeying laws. Some pay the illegals under the table, no taxes to pay and deduct, no health insurance payments, etc. No worries about minimum wage.

We can’t please anyone.

If we talk about candidate problems early we’re bashing.

If we talk about them during campaign we’re not coming together to beat the democrat.

If we talk about them after coronation we’re told to shut up, we knew what we were getting.

“Actually, he said a path to legal residence, not citizenship, and that could just mean work permits for the hispanics to do the work that US citizens won’t do. What would golf courses and gated communities do without hispanic labor?”
*******************************************************************************************************
What would they do without (ILLEGAL) Hispanic labor? The same thing they did BEFORE all the illegals were here-—pay Americans to do the work.

My comment was rhetorical and sarcastic. But I will address your point. When ‘Americans’ can get more $$ from the various welfare programs than from working, it is hard to find many who are happy to work hard for limited earnings.
