There was lively speculation about this being false reporting, or a hoax. Other FReepers have confirmed it as being current.

Comments include that this has gone on since the Clinton years - while true, the engine of tyranny in America has only been in final assembly these last six years - with the test runs in the last three (Watertown, Sandy Hoax, the EBT card shutdown, Ferguson), the engine is idling.

But I have some doubts he could get most members of the military to turn against the rest of us. Oh, he's been trying by removing many of the old guard commanders and replacing them with gays and other protected classes beholden to him, but I don't think he has enough.

I know some of the senior level planners for this whole OP and I've gotta say that engaging in this training to the very best they can, will teach the troops involved the best ways to counter the plan should they ever be given the illegal orders to execute them on the civilian populace for real. I've been jokingly told that should they ever decide to invade Florida, I will be named as a warlord in the exercise. My point is that while I can't speak to the motivations of the conventional forces and in my opinion the real threat lies in each state national guard, based on my experience in the Florida Army National Guard. But the army special forces that I have grown to know and become close friends with at the 05/LTC levels are real patriots and take their motto seriously: To Free the Oppressed. Obama may launch such an order, but I think he will find there is a certain lack of clarity and even a pointed counter strike in the execution of whatever plans are hatched.

All folks involved in any level are role players, just as happens in the local version that takes place semiannually at Fort Bragg, NC in the exercise titled Robin Sage. Role players are usually paid. Police forces involved in the exercises are heavily briefed and they coordinate in advance with the military so as to prevent the unfortunate tragedy that happened at Bragg years ago when two special forces candidates in the Q course interacted with some local police who weren't clued into the action and the soldiers wound up getting killed because they jumped the cops thinking it was required as part of the exercise. So these days, everybody coordinates heavily with everybody else, except those who aren't part of the role play scenarios. Or are outside the play as bystanders.

Anytime I see either Prison Planet or Info Wars as a source for stuff like this, I immediately discount the validity of the product. Alex Jones makes a great living on all things conspiracy. Because he does this with great success, he gets what could be pearls of intelligence mixed up in the general noise of the crappola that is often tossed into the mix. This happens either deliberately as DISINFORMATION by TPTB, or it's generated by rank & file nutcases. In any case, it all becomes useless.

Thank you. I have noticed in the very few times Obama has addressed the troops, that it appears many of them don't like him. You can tell by looking at the faces and mannerisms of the audience that a good many of them don't want to be there, but they have to be because of orders from their superiors. Sometime (when you can endure a portion of one of Obama’s speeches to the troops) compare Obama’s speeches with those of past presidents. I'm sure there are many on You Tube. Even if the soldiers didn't like a president's politics, you could see that they respected their comnanders-in-chief. You don't see that respect from the military in any of Obama’s speeches.

So when I observe the inattention of the military to Obama in those speeches, it gives me some hope that should the king wannabe decide to round up us enemies of the state, he might have problems finding enough who will obey him.

Good post. I also think what you described is exactly what is happening.

Can you imagine our US military doing this in the 1950’s or 1960s? People would have gone berserk and whoever initiated it would have been fired or worse.

Never on American soil (other than inside military bases) has this kind of thing been done. They are pyschologically conditioning us to accept this behavior as the new normal.

I deeply suspect anyone on this thread who thinks otherwise.

Does it mean Obama is going to declare martial law and suspend elections next year? No. Does it mean the progressives do have a long term plan which is ramping up faster and faster? Yes. A plan started by the communists 30-40 or more years ago? Yes!

They are nearing their goals of tearing down this country in every way, religious, social, moral, military,media, business, and in the unsueing chaos seeing their dreams of dominating and enslaving us getting closer and closer. This is one more step in that plan. They are getting so close they can taste it, and I just hope their demonic drive to destroy and enslave makes them make a mistake that is their downfall.

There is absolutely NO NEED for military to be doing drills in American cities. If our government would strengthen our military rather than demoralizing it, would seal the border and kick out all illegals we would be a lot more secure and not have to have any of this insecure chaotic craziness going on.

I find the whole idea of martial law to be so confrontational, in certain parts of the country, to be unachievable...

And that if the military units being given those orders to have to be desensitized to the outrageous concept to figure it to be an un-lawful order, one that will have to be accounted for by anyone in power trying to implement it...

There will be some units that will be all for it...No problem...Most of those will be used from other parts of the country, to control areas they ma not have much social, or demographic ties to...(i.e.: Katrina “New Orleans”)

They pulled a lot of out of state Law Enforcement into that effort from way out of Louisiana and Mississippi...Wait till they call in out of state National Guard in from another state to “assist”...

The next question is this...Do we expect a line in the sand to be violated when their presence is inserted into the aftermath of whatever it will be that they are called in to control??? Or will it be after that has occurred, and some force is utilized to maintain and control population movement, people seeking aid, etc etc etc???

Do we match their force, with our own force???

I think we should be good observers, waiting for the worse case to happen, then wage a little pushback to hopefully urge the government to reconsider and hold back their forces in those efforts...

Don’t get me wrong, I’m fully prepared for the worse, and I live in an area prone to the “perfect storm”, that could be a ground zero for such efforts as we have seen in these discussion threads...

I think we should continue to monitor these events, and be very quiet about our individual capabilities and plans...
