When Spain’s anarchists and communists wanted to fight those who would rule them, they killed their police and soldiers before they could get to their stations/garrisons. They lost anyway (thank God), but it certainly lengthened the war.

Its odd that the people entering the white vans all had the same color pants.
Nothing shows the people walking single file across the intersection being immediately put into those vans.
It was not long ago where I would say the things I see happening today under the obama regime would never happen.
I'm so confident that a third term scenario and/or worse could happen I too have gone Gault (a work in progress and something I never thought I would need to do) in-fact my motivation for doing so was not reading the book (I did years ago), it has been seeing the unimaginable/unbelievable yet foreseeable happening in front of my eyes, almost as Ayn Rand fictionalized.
I do wholeheartedly agree with your comment: " Never has been an illegal term since the Amendment to limit time in the office to 8 years." That is a fact, of course hindsight is often 20/20, the future however is a bit more murky, hence never say never.
That to me looks like the end of the exercise, the troops mounting up and going home.
