Let me see...Scott resisted arrest...assaulted Slager...and maybe tased him....the latter is yet unknown. If he did taze Slager, he has assaulted an officer with a deadly weapon.

Notice I said we don't know all the facts, and if Slager was not disoriented, it looks pretty bad for him.

But if Scott did in face taze Slager, any jury might give Slager a lot of leeway. How about we let all the evidence emerge before making a final condemnation?

That would be true. However there is no evidence of that. The jury will be looking at the "plant".

Regardless of all the fiction that Slager put into his police report don't you think that if he had been tazed then he would have included that salient bit of information? After all it would have bolstered his claim that he had cause to fear for his life and therefore had to shoot Scott, even in the back. Yet he didn't. Why?
