The Department of Defense: God's Word is sexist hate speech
La Salette Journey ^ | April 14, 2015 | Paul Melanson

World Net Daily is reporting:

A Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute course approved by the Department of Defense is under fire for labeling the Bible, the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence sexist materials.

The Daily Caller reported the class given by the DEOMI, an organization with a mission to provide a “world-class human relations education,” was actually removed from the group’s website upon questioning. But the fact they were there at all – and approved by the Defense Department for use – was alarming enough to some who saw irony in the fact U.S. military service members are actually required to take an oath to uphold the Constitution.

The course called the three texts “historical influences that allow sexism to continue,” a copy of one of the documents indicated. Why?

The Declaration of Independence doesn’t refer to “men and women,” but rather only “men,” the Bible has references that “can be misinterpreted as having sexist influence when brought out of context and not fully understood,” and the Constitution’s reference to “we the people” only included whites, the document stated.

And news of the trend is available nearly exclusively through individuals’ websites denigrated by the MSM as blogs.

The Department of Defense has no legal existence, but via the Constitution. This is equivalent to hanging oneself from a sour apple tree. Do they realize how ridiculous they are being?

Of course, what they refer to as "sexist,' is simply the natural division into two sexes, etc.

Dean Swift's Gulliver, found similarly impressive intellects on his third voyage--I believe--to Laputa.

Yes. If you at least don’t stay and participate in the discussion about your article, then it truly does appear to be blog pimping.

And it never hurts to post the entire article if such is legal, which I think it is in this case.

Full disclosure never hurts either. Something such as “I wrote this.” or “I work for this site.” or something along that line.

I predict the Bible will be banned within 5 years. Start memorizing, like Fahrenheit 451.

There will come a day when our military is better at telling you which throw matches your love seat than they are at fighting.

Lilliput involved the little people. They had human flaws, but nothing really equivalent to American Academia, today.

It is in the Third Voyage, as I recall, that Gulliver arrived at Laputa, the capital of which was floating in the air, with an Academy that housed all sorts of pseudo-intellectual projects, which might almost have exceeded some of the idiocy in 21st Century American Academia. Note, I said "almost." We live in a truly remarkable era.
