I’d say you needed to go take a shower,
preferably with a biting moose.

Same thing happens to me. I notice that you post articles a lot. So do I. I think its because the log out link is right next to the post link at the top of the page. I bet youre accidentally logging out and not realizing it.
Otherwise, know as the 'dragging mouse click.' Common problem for me since I am old and shaky.

In IE, check Internet Options, then security.
If custom, consider going to default.

I bet youre accidentally logging out and not realizing it. Nope. I just got back on, mashed "home" and was presented with the need to log in.

I get logged out every time I run a scan. Probably deleting your cookies. That is not my situation. Mine is just random.

Although as you've said --- you are not deleting cookies ---- perhaps take a look and see if cookies, or else browsing history is being deleted automatically?
In firefox one can go to browser menu--->options--->privacy--->remove individual cookies. Click on that to open a window which will show if you have any cookies.
Geez. Things used to be simpler.
Wait until no one is looking.
Use a chair or a step stool.
Climb up, remove cookies.
replace chair or step stool. (and check for crumbs--do not leave a trail...don't ask how i know this)
