You can see them at https://www.youtube.com/user/hallandoatesVEVO/videos
These are much better quality than the VHS recordings that many fans have uploaded over the years.
Its not a mistake that they uploaded Jingle Bell Rock twice one version has Daryl singing, and the other one has John.

They were big in Philly in the early ‘80s. Elsewhere, I’m not so sure.

Are you kidding? They are LEGENDS. The first to fuse rock and soul music together. I guess you never heard of Blood, Sweat and Tears.
Or Led Zeppelin.
Or The Animals (House of the Rising Sun).

Their song Maneater was about my first wife. Stephen Bishop's Save It For A Rainy Day was about my first girlfriend.

Ooh, the beauty is there

Watch out boy she'll chew you up

That’s like saying Deborah Harris of Blondie “Rapture” song was the first rap song.

Good point. Did they get better musicians or did they
redo everything with better talent. In my younger years
if you showed up at a party with a Hall & Oates or an
Air Supply record you could get beat up.
Hall & Oates, lame.
