even better install refcontrol addon for firefox

put the following in a text file and import it into refcontrol:

[RefControl]
chicagotribune.com=https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=chicago+tribune&spell=1
haaretz.com=https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=haaretz.com
newser.com=https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=newser
wsj.com=https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=wall+streen+journal

Works for other websites (not all), but that’s all I’ve cared about so far.

However Cline even suggests that ISIS could be the modern day equivalent of the Sea People, sparking mass migrations and destablising the lands they invade. He said: 'Even with all of our technological advancements, we are not immune.'

Only if we continue to be pussies re:these clowns.

He wasn’t born in 1 AD.

Every idiot knows that “AD” means “in the year of our Lord — anno domini”. The year 1 is the year that people thought Jesus was born, when the AD dating system was started. We’re still using the AD — “in the year of our Lord” — dating system. We’re still dating our calendar from the year in which that the calendar’s authors thought Jesus was born. But PC leftist have changed AD to BCE in order to try to deny that they’re using the Christian dating system. PC always denies reality — that’s what it’s all about.

Sometime after 2015 A.D., civilization collapsed, and a dark age prevailed.
The Late iPhone Age collapse of societies throughout the USA has been a mystery. Powerful, advanced cities disappeared, seemingly overnight. Now an archaeologist believes he has figured out what lay behind the cataclysm.

The trigger seems to have been the invasion of angry cities in 2015 A.D. by marauding peoples known simply as the “Street Peoples,” as recorded in the Madatitnow Babywall relief at Ferguson tomb. The relief depicts a street battle (and also carts full of stolen groceries, tv sets, iPhones, supplies, women and children, something that always puzzled researchers. Why would the women and children have been at a street battle [your MAMA!] and why were there burning cop cars and overflowing shopping carts? Did they bring them on ships as well? [no] The foreigners in Baltimore were depicted wearing distinct head gear called hoodies....

there fixed it right proper

“BCE” and “CE” are just plain stupid.

No, it’s worse than stupid. It’s a calculated, insidious attempt to de-Christianize our civilization, by denying that our civilization uses a calendar that dates years from when (it was originally thought) that Christ was born. We’re in the year 2015 by the Christian calendar, i.e. 2015 years since Jesus originally was thought to be born. In contrast, in the Chinese calendar it’s the year 4,045 (or round abouts), because they don’t start with Jesus. The Muslims have a different year-counting method too. the West counts from the time of Jesus — but the PC crowd want to deny that by substituting CE and BCE (but still use the Christian calendar counting of 2015)

So since we all know He was born earlier, shouldn’t we change the dating? I mean really, you guys are simply dishonoring Him by using a freak from the sixth century faulty dating mechanism.

If you are so against renaming a bad dating systems, why not abandoned the gregorian dating too. That was a modern innovation too...

If you want to abandon reference to Jesus, then you should say it’s the year 2768 - that would be dating from what is thought to be the year Rome was founded. Or it’s the year 1637 — 1637 years since Mohammed’s hegira.

but anyone who says “this is the year 2015” is using the Christian calendar - 2015 years since Christianity began. You can change the terminology to BCE or CE, but you’re still using the Christian dating system, still dating from the time of Christ, not from any other event of significance. So BCE or CE is a fraud - an attempt to deny that you’re doing what you’re doing. An attempt to whitewash Jesus out of history, while still using a date system founded by Christians, based on Christian belief.

PC always denies reality — that’s what it’s all about.

Absolutely. They MUST LIE, no one would ever vote for them if they told the truth.

I saw this book in the shop about a year ago.

I DL’d the Kindle free sample but never bought because it was simply too pricey for me. I decline to pay >$20 Dollars for an E-book, period.

Actually, I think that BCE stands for “before Common Era”, not Christian era. The PC malignants would never use the word Christian except as an insult.

I think it was because of the Exodus proving Israel worshipped the One True God. would ruin a false god economy, like the tulips, and the natural disasters, which we all know are controlled by Him also.

I'm a little skeptical on the precision of the dating, myself. If you can't date a point event such as the epochal eruption on Santorini with any precision, I gently suggest that pinning down these events to a single calendar year might be a little optimistic.

It's a great story, though. The author spoils it a little, IMHO, by suggesting that ISIS is in any way reminiscent of the Sea Peoples - it simply doesn't stretch that far, ISIS is not a migratory operation nor does it consist of independent ethnicities; it is a political stew peculiar to our own age that is both artificial and evanescent. If we're still talking about it in a decade in anything but nostalgic terms I'll be very surprised.

This, though, is a little regrettable:

There is evidence in the archaeological record of climatic changes such as climate change...

Good God - that one needs an editor or an anaesthesioligist.

Yes, but in reality, it’s Before the Christian Era. Because the Christian Era began in year 1 AD or thereabouts. No other event or change of historical significance took place at that time. Our calendar is centered on the beginning of the Christian Era, no matter what thee PC people say. So their lies aside, the years “BCE” or the years before the Christian Era.

Cuts though the BS and gets right down to business didn't he?

We were taught this at The Basic School at Quantico (Basic Infantry Officer's Course - USMC) as a classic example of a succinct mobilization order.

Nearly 80 years after it was issued, it is still a winner!

You seem to be saying that using other calendars is OK in your world. Well, guess what - everyone that uses the BCE and CE reference is using the Common calendar, and no, not everyone is trying to “obscure” Christian reference (and what again happened in 1 AD that makes you so rabid?).

In the Hebrew calendar the year is 5775. The Julian date is 2457146.5. In the Christian Gregorian calendar it is 2015. In the Common calendar, it is also 2015.

For the past 15 years, I have written calendar software for Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch etc. I can tell you, that we have left your BC/AD long ago. You must have a lot of pent up angst to let a little thing like BCE and CE to bother you. You better move on. It is better for your health.

The year 1 is the year that people thought Jesus was born, when the AD dating system was started.

But He wasn't born in 1 CE. He was born between 4 and 6 BCE, and every idiot that knows history knows that.

You are like the COBOL coder from 1999 that insists that we should still be using two digit years. Sheesh, why perpetuate an error?
