EL PASO, Texas -- On the day to remember America's war dead, Twin Peaks is saying thank you to military veterans by offering a free meal this Memorial Day.
The national chain is making the meals available to all current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces at all its locations in the Borderland and across the country.
The offer is valid for lunch or dinner. Veterans will get to choose a free entrée from a special menu, which includes Blackened Chicken Quesadillas and Fish Tacos.
Hmmm, you sure seem to know a lot about breasteraunts :-)
Oh my gosh that looks horrible. I don’t even see a nacho at all. The top brown area looks like a horses ass.....lol.
Then have the Blackened Chicken Quesadillas, which sounds delish to this Mexican style food lover.
To each his own but if they want to provide a free meal to a vet I have no problem.
Haven’t eaten at their restaurants but have enjoyed a free vet meal at Hooters in
the past.
Does it really matter???????.....Sheesh!
I wont go to any restaurant for a free meal on Memorial Day for sure

I whole agree with you. What I do is try and patronize the places that do things for Vets on non free days.
Of course, I am not above asking for Vets discount when offered. It covers the tax and a little more (usually 10%) and in a ‘sit down’ restaurant I add it to the Waitresses tip.
For some reason, I sort of ‘liken’ free meal day to ‘Amateur Night’ for drinkers (NYE and SPD) or when the VFW or AL has a ‘free picnic or meal’ I manage not to show up that day.
Kind of gets my goat when the Members that show up for the free meal for reupping or summer picnic and don’t know how to find the place the rest of the year, manage to spend their little time at the Post complaining about ‘everything’
Best I not be around for that.
Offering you who I would presume a vet based on your comment, a free meal is "USING YOU"?.........Get a life bro.............
So true.
It’s more like not taking the chance of corrupting yourself.
I read.
In what world do you live in where accepting a free meal as a veteran from a restaurant that is offering it equates to "corrupting oneself?"
And for what it's worth, who and what has determined that such restaurant chain is not worthy in honoring veterans?
Sounds like you have much to do about nothing..........
I don’t need the meal but would enjoy sitting there watching the lady wait staff bend over the tables serving mega calories as I enjoyed a good cup of black coffee.
