Students at Oregon State University held a "SlutWalk" yesterday, calling for the end of the patriarchy, cissexism, and heterosexism. The rally began at the steps of Memorial Union, which is the student activity center at OSU.
Fliers were posted around campus, trying to rally other students to the cause:
Among other things that "SlutWalk" hopes to accomplish is the re-definition of the word "slut." They also hope to end "the patriarcy," "cissexism," "heterosexism," and "ableism:"

That's okay. One of our employees sent out a flyer for "LBGTIQ Pride Day" last week and I had to ask him what the heck the "IQ" meant. I wish I hadn't asked.

Being "cis-gender" means that your perceived gender and the biological sex you were born with are the same. I.e., you are what we used to call "normal".
Cissexism is the unacceptable belief that being normal is a good thing.
I guess the old joke about getting out of the service before they made sodomy mandatory is coming to pass on college campuses?

“Ableism” has to mean that it is so unfair that people with ability succeed above the morons who participate in these events. Idiots should be as well compensated as the more capable, educated and talented.

I thought real “Slut Shaming” was a guy calling a women who won’t have sex with him at the drop of a hat a “slut”.

But the left seems to have taken that term and used it to complain about people who call honest to goodness streetwalkers, prostitutes and other “sex-workers” sluts as if calling Thing A another similar word for Thing A is a bad thing.

Looking at the map, I see that public streets pass through the campus, including right past the Memorial Union building.
I wonder what the reaction would be if a hundred bikers came riding by to watch the demonstrators, and give comments?
