Why were the cops issued Rules of Engagement well beyond those for the Border Patrol or the U S Military in Afghanistan and Iraq? Who approved those RoEs?

I find it interesting that over 5 biker gangs were there but eight of the nine killed were from one gang only, the very gang rumored to have been unwilling to pay a narcotics trafficking territory fee.

Is Waco PD an extension of a drug trafficking entity..?

The shootout sounds vaguely like a drug territory enforcement action by cops, something common in Mexico.

While typically waived, Mr. Clendennen may be well-served to invoke his 6th Amendment rights:

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.

To wit: demand they charge & prosecute him NOW. Stop giving them time to concoct elaborate justifications for convicting an innocent. Get inside their OODA loop and disrupt it before they complete it.

I have a nice Electraglide Harley Davidson that I ride when I can.
I do not belong to any gang other than the National Rifle Assoc.
I can see being in the wrong place at the wrong time and getting arrested just for riding in on my bike.
But it seems that the cops in this case are trying to outlaw bikes./

I’m hearing a lot of conspiracy theories. My take at this point is when you have a lot of bad actors in one area, the good actor’s would be well served to stay away. Some of these bad actors were verrryyy bad actors and things got way out of control.

The truth, My FRiend, you will never hear. All you can do is use your common sense and remember in the past incidents, the police immediately released any and all information that would either exonerate them or put them in a good light.
