Light Emitting Diode...LED Dirigible...

Get it? A very weak joke, indeed

I see no connection to Led Zeppelin:

BTW, I was at this concert in 1969.

I don’t think any of these guesses are right. I’m looking up Zeppelin lyrics, and nothing matches that “cipher” in the cartoon.

Whatever the correct answer, the lyric will be obvious. I’m still looking...

I'm going to guess it's a very feeble attempt at the chorus of What is and What Should Never Be ["Catch the wind, see us spin..."]

And if I say to you tomorrow
Take my hand, child, come with me
It's to a castle I will take you
Where what's to be, they say will be

Catch the wind, see us spin, sail away
Leave today, way up high in the sky and whoa
But the wind won't blow
You really shouldn't go, it only goes to show
That you will be mine, by taking our time

And if you say to me tomorrow
Oh, what fun it all would be
Then what's to stop us, pretty baby
But what is and what should never be

Catch the wind, see us spin, sail away
Leave today, way up high in the sky and whoa
But the wind won't blow
You really shouldn't go, it only goes to show
That you will be mine, by taking our time

So if you wake up with the sunrise
And all your dreams are still as new
And happiness… Full lyrics on Google Play

I “think” its Thank You...but I don’t know what exact lyric it’s referring to:
If the sun refused to shine
I would still be loving you
When mountains crumble to the sea
There’ll still be you and me
Kind woman, I give you my all
Kind woman, nothing more
Little drops of rain, whisper of the pain
Tears of loves lost in the days gone by
My love is strong with you there is no wrong
Together we shall go until we die
Inspiration is what you are to me
Inspiration, look to see
And so today, my world it smiles
Your hand in mine we walk the miles
Thanks to you it will be done
For you to me are the only one
Happiness, no longer sad
Happiness, I’m glad
If the sun refused to shine
I would still be loving you
When mountains crumble to the sea
There’ll still be you and me, and me

Well, the cut called "The Crunge" from the Houses of the Holy album (1973) contains these lines:

She's my lover baby and I love her so and
She's the one that really makes me whirl and twirl!

Hmmmmm. Well, I have Robert Plant’s autograph from 1980.

Yeah. So he’s a good buddy of mine. Uh-huh.

I’ll ask him about this and get back to ya.

In "The Crunge" Plant sings:

"She's the one that really makes me whirl and twirl."

Hmmm.... Given that Stairway to Heaven makes more sense backwards than forwards (for the Satanically inclined), maybe the search should be expanded.....

"My romantic partner is centripetal in relation to me/"

Basically means...

'My lover is attracted to me/'

"in roughly the same conceptual manner"

'like'

"as air currents behave in relation to the sea/"

"???"

The last line is the mystery but I don't see any guesses that really match the first line. Been a Zep fan since at least '73 and I'm stumped.

I don't know.

I DO remember a paper I wrote in High School JR year English class about LED ZEPPLIN and it came back graded as an “F” with “SPELLING” next to the “F” and every “LED was circled in red ink.

I had to bring in several Album (Yes, vinyl) covers and a Ticket Stub to prove My case. I also argued that a "LEAD" Zepplin made no aeronautical sense because it would be too HEAVY!

Maybe I should have brought in the Science Teacher?

The Witch ended up giving Me a "C".
