If I belonged to that church I think I’d have more reason to be concerned about Mitt selling it out than about a bunch of protestors around a building.

That price isn’t unreasonable, considering many vending machines charge that much. Somebody wasn’t getting their cut!

We have been flooded this whole spring. Must have had about 30 inches or even more thus far. Water is being released from the spillways so the dams don’t burst. I can’t speak to Texas but it isn’t a problem in Arkansas; not where I live, in any event.

I used to live in Missouri and on one occasion the water on the Missouri River got so high that cars were literally floating in the city streets in the state capital. That same year the Mississippi got so high that many towns along the river had to sandbag to try to save their homes. In Illinois across the river an entire small town had to be relocated on higher ground as it was continually being flooded.

I just don’t get it. California could have a foot of water over the entire state if this flood water was put to good use. Right now it is just flowing out into the Gulf of Mexico. That makes no sense.
