The Open Letter (to Rainbow-y Relatives and Friends) That Demands a Response

Woo-hoo, yay, hurrah. The Supreme Court now says yes to homosexual “marriage.” Today, you’re all doing limp-wristed high-fives and toasting each other with your tall half-caff soy lattes. But, as usual, you don’t see the big picture.

Keeping in line with your propensity for not thinking things through, you’ve neglected to consider something very important—something that will affect the lives of people you claim to love.

Let’s get two facts out of the way first.

1. There is no such thing as homosexual “marriage.” There never will be; there never can be. You can buy judges to rewrite the dictionary as often as you like, but it changes nothing.

2. The homosexual “marriage” push has never been about “marriage.” The percentage of homosexuals is tiny, and the number of those who will “marry” even smaller. It is and has always been a front, a weapon to attack and destroy Christian belief on a massive scale. Several centuries ago, King Henry VIII decided to pervert the definition of marriage; he and his murderous associates followed up by using it as an excuse to kill people and take their stuff. That’s the same plan now. The homosexuals are not the victors in this struggle; they’re the pawns.

Okay, you got that so far? I’m not asking if you agree—I know you don’t—I just want to ensure you’ve read it and understand my point of view before I continue. So let’s get down to brass tacks.

I and millions like me will never comply with this agenda. Never. I’ll resist it to my last breath, as my Faith compels me to. So that leaves you with one question that you must answer:

What manner of penalty do you dictate for me?

Yes, you read that correctly. This new, “tolerant,” “diverse,” open society that you think has been established will never allow people like me to publicly maintain this point of view. No—they will demand that I be punished or sanctioned in some manner. And you’re going to be required to give your blessing to this retribution.

So what’s it to be? What punishment will you demand for your brother, your uncle, your long-time friend?

• Perhaps I should be heavily fined or taxed. What do you think about that? Take away all of my assets for daring to say something in opposition to the “tolerant” people?

• Or maybe licensure and ostracization is the answer. Maybe I should be forced to seek “permission” to speak out against the things I disagree with and be branded with an identifying mark on my forehead.

• How about depriving me of my ability to have a livelihood or own a home? Perhaps the punishment should be that I am not allowed to hold a job—leaving me to become a bum, living in the gutter or only on the charity of others, or maybe just dying of exposure as the seasons change.

• Disenfranchisement is an option. Take away my right to vote for the things I believe in. After all, you have decided that my right to representation is to be ignored and suppressed, right?

• Of course, simplicity is usually the best answer. Maybe I should just take a bullet to the back of the head. What do you think of that? Governments have been doing that for a long time. It’s easy, quick, and relatively inexpensive. This might be the choice you should make.

This is not hyperbole. It’s not a joke. This is happening. It’s very likely that Obama, his goons, and his leftist followers will even recruit you to be the one who sells me out.

Are you ready for that?

So I ask you again: what manner of penalty do you dictate for me?

Tell me now, so I know where we stand in regard to each other.

My recommendation is to remove yourself from Facebook. Immediately. You have invited them to judge you and will likely be surprised at how enthusiastically they will do so.

Go to Facebook and count the number of rainbow avatars, they are overwhelmingly women and the total of men and women comprise a small percentage of the total FaceBook accounts.

Based on FaceBook counts, one could say support for gay marriage overwhelmingly comes from women and is probably perceived by them as a fairness thing.

I believe this rainbow ruling is the mark of the beast or at least in part.
The mark on the head (how you think in idiology) The mark on your hand (they perform actions) which goes to the heart as well.
Global warming worship, health care that is given to those who “deserve it” or are still useful to the beast,is also a part of the mark.
All these are of course, Communist goals.
It’s all related and it fits the prophesy of most belonging to the evil one which is of course...the Beast. Communism is of the beast, and we know it.
All the threats of denying commerce, imprisonment, death, it’s all coming down. We shall fight, but this may be God’s will.
He has been very patient. Perhaps it has run out.

I have a facebook page to keep up with various stories. Do not have “friends” on it. I look at my wife’s fb to keep up on that stuff.

I switched my facebook avatar to a Gadsen Flag today. I was thinking an upside down rainbow - but nobody would get it.

I would be interested in hearing from other Freepers who go to their FB friends list, click a friend who has been openly supporting of gay marriage and count the rainbow avatars in their friend lists.

My wife and I did that. Searching just the accounts of friends and friends of friends who openly support gay marriage, we found that white women seem to support it about 4:1 over white men and in total, the rainbow avatars run about 4%-5%

Wouldn't count on it. That 4% is actually on the high side. Obviously what my wife and I did is unscientific and could be distorted in many ways. We tended to avoid counting friends with small numbers of friends. The percentages of such friends having friends with rainbow avatars was sub 1 percent.

We tended to focus on friends with friend counts over 200 as presumably they would more likely represent a broader swath of society. In that case, the highest percentage was 7% but the average was right around 4%.

What really surprised us was that our black and hispanic friends have sub-one percent counts of friends with rainbow avatars

Already on Facebook, I see the spies and informers. I can even name their names because I’m pretty good at sizing people up. Most of them today have their faces covered in a rainbow hue and are busily blocking anyone who dares question their authority of all things bright and beautiful. It’s interesting to see the number of people who would be willing to turn in grandma for almost nothing.

It’s already happening. With amusement and sadness, I watched as people posted message after message on FB declaring that #lovewins with warnings that anyone who opposed same sex marriage would be deleted immediately from friends lists.

Penzey’s - bizarrely overpriced spices from me, the Queen of Spice. Didn’t know they were a gay outfit. Luckily, I buy from Indian grocery stores where spices are dead cheap, fresh, and all the help and customers are family oriented. Are Hindus not into the gay rights movement?
