In order to further desirable conservative social issues, first the candidate MUST WIN elections. The loser does not get to nominate judges and justices. Or push for conservative social issues laws.

You've got it backwards entrophy12.

In order to win elections, you must get nominated first.

Since Trump can't be bothered to man-up and take a position on the unconstitutional Gay Marriage ruling by the SCOTUS (akin to the made up right-to-privacy Abortion ruling) he is unprepared and unfit to be POTUS.

Yes of course nomination comes first! But is’nt nomination based on primary election WINS? Are you saying majority of republican voters are not concerned about economy and jobs as their top issues during the primary process?

On the gay marriage issue, I am 100% certain he will be asked to state his position during debates. Unless he comes out in favor of gay marriage, I am willing to wait until the debates begin, before crossing Trump off my list. In fact, I will cross off any candidate who is OK with gay marriage.
