Order 66, if I understand Star Wars lore is the final purge of Jedi. In truth this purge of our honored muses has long been activated. The Demise of White Men is a well worn tactic of the evil ones. What remains is the war for the absolute destruction of the Empire and all its dark malevolence. Not until the war against progressive thought is fully engaged will there be any hope of saving our once great nation.
Unfortunately, given the nature of humans, especially those conditioned to misread the negative feedback (pain) the world gives in abundance when one violates its rules, I suspect we'll take the long way home to sanity.
As a side note, the one thing I've noticed about the science fiction/science fantasy of my youth is how predictive it has been of our now, especially so about Star Wars, believe it or not.
Given some of the stuff I read, this continues to be a source of fascination and now a growing fear.
