Cruz is down some and appears almost in jeapardy of not making the cut for debates.
He needs to make the debates so the country can see how good he is.

Trump will propose a border fence and single-payer health care (both of which are popular with working class Republicans and Democrats alike, since they don’t relish the competition from endless rounds of illegals, but worry about getting affordable medical care) and oppose Common Core. If he wins the nomination, these positions might take him to the White House.

Americans like people who speak clearly and don’t mince words. Americans love rabble rousers. They almost never elect such people though.

The big question is...Where do the Trumpians go when it’s time to get serious? Who gets those voters? That will decide the nomination.

Trump is in the process of changing the GOP, right in front of everyone’s eyes.

He’s appealing to both parties, and he is hugely popular at the moment.

Someone in the GOP needs to start waking up, or Trump will walk off with this race.

Not that I’m complaining, but seriously. Nobody else is saying what Americans are waiting to hear someone say.

“Bring back jobs to America”.

“Stop hiring illegals”.

Those are so simple, but everyone is too busy outsourcing everything to realize Americans don’t want to outsource everything.

Americans want to hire Americans once again.

Right here, in the United States.

Because The Cheap Labor Express and The Ministry of Propaganda have spent years trying to convince Americans that they must abandon the rule of law and surrender their country to fraudulently documented foreigners.

Billions of dollars have been spent buying both parties.
The citizens were to be denied the opportunity to elect anyone who would stop the invasion/cheaplabor importation/colonization of our country.
Donald Trump threatens to upset that apple cart.

They want Cruz down in the poll not so he is marginalized, but to get a third party movement going where the establishment class of both rats and pubs can once and for all destroy whatever is left of the constitution and this country.

He’s a likable guy, but he isn’t getting it done, and it would appear that he did substantial damage to himself with his recent votes in the senate.

If you are a politician who lacks the ability to understand where you base is coming from, you aren’t going to go very far.

If you can’t speak to their concerns in a way that animates them in your direction, it’s game over.

Herman Cain was leading the GOP for a while and he did a crash and burn. I expect that Trump will do the same, but unlike Cain, Trump has the money to run a third party run. And I wouldn’t put it past him.

The big question is...Where do the Trumpians go when it’s time to get serious?

Your big question isn't much of a question at all if Trump remains the most popular candidate and stays in the race.

The big question then is who will be his running mate. Should that scenario present itself a Trump/Cruz ticket could be quite formidable. I find it instructive that the two men are saying nice things about each other this early in the campaign. How long the mutual admiration continues is worth watching closely.

Yes, I’m also concerned about Cruz’ lackluster polling of late. My guess is that the majority of people do not know that Cruz also is standing strong against illegal immigration. If Cruz can just get in the debates, I think he will be able to powerfully get his message out.

Loose cannons cause great fear on any ship. While by accident it MAY fire off a shot at the enemy (before it breaks loose), the recoil that breaks all the normal restrains creates a rolling, slamming projectile ricocheting all over the deck, leaving carnage and wreckage in its wake.

Defecating rocks is the normal response to this set of circumstances.

If it turns out to be Hillary vs ¡Yeb!, I hope he does run third party. That’s the only way we’d have a choice as Hillary and ¡Yeb! are nearly indistinguishable.

They know what we want, all right, they just don't care. Their gravy train doesn't include us.

Border fence, single payer, Common Core. Three big issues taken together, almost every American can relate to at least one.

Sticking to three or four big issues can be a winning strategy for a convincing candidate. Trump will need to discipline himself to stick to that and stay on message.

Friday evening Trump spoke to Arkansas Republicans at the “Reagan-Roosevelt Dinner” in Hot Springs. I am very curious what he would say to a group like that. Knowing that the GOPe hates his guts; what would he say to them?

While a group of Republicans in Arkansas might be more amenable to Trump than one in DC or NYC, I’m sure there is a direct line from Arkansas to DC. So what did Trump say to them? Does anyone have link to a video of Friday evening’s speech?

I found one link at the Arkansas Republican website, but the picture AND audio were so poor I not only couldn’t make out who was at the rostrum, I couldn’t understand what was being said, or even the gender of the speaker. We’re talking a 1950s Brownie Hawkeye camera, and 2 pork ‘n beans cans and a string.
Please share a link if you have one.
