This is what we’re dealing with. A dishonorable, desperate goon who will stoop to any level to insult anyone who fails to worship him, and will resort to any measure to get attention. And this isn’t even the worst thing about him. The worst thing is that he’s a corrupt, liberal, mob-connected charlatan. He’s a Democrat with a Democrat’s agenda, which is trumped (pun intended) only by his primary agenda, which is to serve himself and himself alone.

But Donald Trump is not the problem. The real problem are his supporters. These are conscious, intelligent adults who have chosen to make a mockery of the political process and play games with my country’s future. For this reason, because I love my country and I take it’s fate seriously, I am angry at these people. They know better than this. They are better than this. And it pains me that these reckless, bored people are coming, presumably, from the conservative ranks. I would have liked to think that conservatives wouldn’t fall for the Obama Cult of Personality shtick, but they have. And it’s depressing to behold.

But, much as I’ll be accused of attacking them here, I’m actually the one encouraging them. Most of the rest of the non-Trump fans just treat the Trump Squad like children who can’t be held responsible. I, on the other hand, would never insult them like that. They’re not children. They’re not robots. They have a brain and free will, and it’s about time they freaking use it

“Trump fans will come out of the woodwork because of my latest piece here, and when they do I want you to notice something: they claim they like Trump’s “blunt and unapologetic” approach, but watch how they react when that blunt and unapologetic strategy is turned against them.”

Could somebody point me to an actual instance of this, so I can see it for myself?

Trump consults with Clinton before launching his campaign. Gives plenty of money to the Clinton campaigns as well as their foundations. Donates thousands to Democrat campaign committees which helped the Democrats take control of Congress in 2006. Supported single payer health system.

If the same standards were used to judge him as any other Republican, he would be deemed a RINO and a GOPE. Why is Trump given a pass on so many issues?

I would have liked to think that conservatives wouldn’t fall for the Obama Cult of Personality shtick, but they have.

The Trump phenomenon has made it obvious that the "Low Information Voter" is not a species unique to the leftward side of the electorate.

I’d love to be convinced that Trump is not just 2016’s Ross Perot. But that is what he looks like to me.

Concern troll.

Whatever happened to the days when conservatives were “fed up” with the process and wanted a “revolution”, which was like 3 whole weeks ago?

>>They have a brain and free will, and it’s about time they freaking use it

Please, Matt Walsh, tell us how to freaking use our brains.

Does he think for a second that every conservative who is presently following Trump isn’t asking themselves over and over again, “This guy is not a conservative, yet he is forcing the Beltway Elite to respond to questions that we’ve been asking for 20 years and they refuse to answer. Should I continue to follow him, or should I go back to the safe and polite Conservatives, who will lose to the GOProgressive in the primary?”

Yes, we feel like Patton saying that we need to rearm the Nazis and turn them east to kill the REAL enemy. We think about this and a lot of things, but just because we aren’t as “nuanced” as Matt Walsh, we are misusing our brain and free will. Perhaps we are. Perhaps Matt Walsh needs to implore another candidate to step up and fill that space that is occupied by Trump and to start kicking that wasp nest like he is.

This isn’t a college debate team. This is 21st century America: broke, weakened, scared to offend much less actually WIN, more worried about a lion than a million dead babies, worried that #thuglivesmatter, suppressing Christ while embracing Mohammed, etc.

We need a pit fighter who will break an opponent’s nose before the bell rings and kick the referee in the nuts if he complains. Come on Matt Walsh, make a candidate replace Trump!! PLEASE!! But stop telling us to lower our expectations to match yours!

I would ask Mr. Walsh, and you, Theo... instead of blaming people for resonating how Trump is calling out hypocrisy and RINO soft-on-borders liberalism, the GOPe with its Bush dynasty obsession — why not LEARN WHY Trump is resonating? Maybe Republican leadership needs to WAKE UP, TELL THE TRUTH, and FIGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY?

Trump is not my first choice... Ted Cruz is. Unsurprisingly, Cruz gets what Trump is saying about how the GOPe has thrown us all under the bus. If you stop a minute and realize why you’re afraid of Trump upsetting the status quo, I think you should consider that the status quo in the GOP is heading toward Uniparty and a leftward destruction of the country.

intelligent adults who have chosen to make a mockery of the political process

Career politicians have done a pretty good job of that long before Trump decided to throw his hat into the ring.

I am not angry at Trump or his supporters.
I am angry at the GOP for not having the guts to address the issues or stand up to the Media and the Perpetually Offended.
