Trump consults with Clinton before launching his campaign. Gives plenty of money to the Clinton campaigns as well as their foundations. Donates thousands to Democrat campaign committees which helped the Democrats take control of Congress in 2006. Supported single payer health system.

If the same standards were used to judge him as any other Republican, he would be deemed a RINO and a GOPE. Why is Trump given a pass on so many issues?

Why is Trump given a pass on so many issues?

Because he has moved to the right, and is now putting his reputation--as a proud & often outspoken man--on the line for what most of us believe.

Conservatives need to stop acting like Lemmings, following one another to destruction, and embrace new allies & new opportunities. An American future is the real issue--not anybody's false pride, that goeth before a fall.

Because unlike actual RINOs, Trump identifies the enemies of America. Too many “conservatives” make excuses for them.

You hit it on the head!

Name one Republican Presidential Candidate that would not have already have been written off if they had taken a picture like this? Clinton and Clinton - Lite

“Why is Trump given a pass on so many issues?”

Because he is the only one saying what should be said.

Of course, there’s that pesky credibility problem. Does he mean what he says, or is he just messing with us?

Up until just a few years ago the mention of Trump's name would have evoked derision from the great majority here on FR. But he jumps in front of the illegal immigration topic, and now he's The Nation's Savior.

I don't trust Trump as far as I could throw him. He'd sell out his mother to make a buck. And he'll sell out the conservatives of FR for the same reason.

Many conservative care more about immigration than anything else. The number of conservatives like that is growing rapidly as America turns third world.

In the not too distant future, the GOP will either become an immigration restrictionist party, or it will split and America will have a new right wing nationalist party.

This is only the beginning. Few right of center millennials have any loyalty to the GOP. Older conservatives are getting fed up too. If the country shifts much further to the left than it is now, there won’t be anything left to lose if the Democrats control the entire Fed Gov.
