Me at BronyCon
First off, I know what your thinking; but this was NOT a "gay" thing - this is a nerd thing! Lots of videogamers and Dungeons and Dragons types here. Young crowd, mostly twentysomethings but all ages were there from little kids to grandparents. And the crowd was half the show - lots of awesome costumes and outfits. The positive energy there was amazing, with people standing in line breaking out into songs and chants. Politics was practically unmentioned. I got to see a number of notable people, including actor John Delancie, some of the voice actors and show writers as well as fan artists and producers. The market area was huge with hundreds of tables selling every imaginable pony merchandise. Handmade plushies (toy stuffed animals) were a major item, with many selling for $400 or more. Overall, the experience was incredible and I hope to go back next year.

The marketplace.
This lady (White Dove Creations) brought 70 handemade plushies to the con and sold 62 the first day! Note the two red and white "Fausticorns" on the right that were signed by show creator Lauren Faust. They were sold for charity at $2500 apiece.
PLUSHIES!
Rainbow Dash
Princess Luna
Huge Twilight Sparkle that was carried around the entire convention.
Rocketman!
Fursuiters
The Bronypalooza rave party that went on 'till 3:30AM Saturday night.
Closing ceremonies.
Dude....
Way TMI.
I’m assuming the vendors accept $3 bills?
I don’t ‘get it’ at all but looks like good clean fun.
The nice young men in their clean white suits will be coming to take them away.
“NOT a gay thing”
Yep. Gay thing....
Dude, get help before it’s too late.
There are people who can get you out
of a cult...
Unusual but apparently harmless until you try to saddle one up.
There’s medicine for that.
I must confess I harbor a secret desire for Ren and Stimpy cartoons. There, I informed FR. I am sorry I have no pictures from Ren and Stimpy conventions because quite frankly, there are none. All I have is a well worn vhs tape of several of their cartoons that I last watched 14 years ago.
Thankfully, after several years of therapy, I no longer believe that I am Stimpy. I now identify as Ren. It has been a major breakthrough according to my therapist.
You went to Baltimore? Is it even safe there? There was an article just this week saying they were up to their 200th murder this year already.
Well I sure don’t get it but looks like there’s nothing wrong with it. To each his own...
For some reason, I think I’d rather go see Jewel Staite at Comic-Con.
Oh no not gay, nope! Nah!
