Establishment wants to win. They will take Cruz on his own terms. Cruz is clever enough to not share a ticket with Trump- a loose cannon on deck.

The game has been changed by Trump. The establishment is totally outed -exposed for the con it is. RAT/GOP - not a dimes worth of difference. Inching ourselves out of it one Ted Cruz at a time ain’t gonna cut it. I have so much respect for Ted. But he’s a chisel when we need a bulldozer.

We need some one who can win a Presidential Election that is decided by 2%-3% of the electorate.

I’m tired of thinking small, aren’t you? We are passed the point where winning elections is gonna change the status quo. We need more than that. We need people to start waking up. Trump is America’s alarm clock.

We need someone who can win, and who is committed to reversing by executive order Obammy’s unlawful executive orders.

Well Trump could do that just as easily. Plus a whole lot more. Guts. Trump has it in spades! 😉

COULD TED CRUZ END UP AS THE ESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATE?

If so, Trump will have moved the GOP Establishment worms well to the right and conservatives will owe him a debt of gratitude.

Nurse:The patients cancer has spread doctor he will die soon if something isn’t done.
Doctor: I can see that Nurse. It’s going to take some radical surgery to save him.
Nurse: Scalpel Doctor?
Doctor: No hand me the shotgun, if he survives this the cancer will be a piece of cake.

Oh come on! Trump isn’t that scary....

Looking outside the box, at someone with a different skill set, other than “lawyer”, might be just what we need to turn this ship around.

Trump can do the dozing, then Cruz can do the landscaping.
That works for me.

Not scary? Trump supporters remind me of the guy in this beer commercial:

Me too.

Trump is the inspiration we need, too. There’s plenty of work for the lawyers to do, but leave the inspiring to the man who is good at that. That’s Trump.

Lawyers are great in the presidents cabinet, legal team, beaurocracy, or in Congress.

Well, I do still support Cruz over Trump but, I am a realist, and I love the GOPe panic caused by Trump.

Kartographer, be bold. And fearless. The country has many people in it. Many of them are scary. Many of them think and act weird or differently from you and me. But we shouldn’t shun them because they are getting excited about someone who has the track record to back up his claims that he will change the direction this country is being driven in. We thought the same about obama and look what his lame ass has accomplished!

Trump is not perfect, but neither are we or any of the other ho hum candidates. He’s inspiring many, many people of various backgrounds and stations in life. So he could make it. And he, more than any of the others, just might be able to accomplish what he says he will.

We the people have been needing a little inspiration, if truly it is us who must brave up and push back in some small manner against the opposition, the enemies of the state from within, and the foreign threats that are obvious.

No other candidate makes us want to restore ourselves, regroup, and remember that we are Americans. We deserve to have a leader who delivers OUR message for a change, a message flagrantly absent flattery, pandering, political correctness, and relavitism. We have prayed for such a leader.

Now one comes along who is a force, and because he doesn’t fit the Establishment’s mold for viability, and does not perpetuate the same ole credentials of big me, little you, and the currently accepted give away attitude of our country to her enemies, foreign and domestic, he is declared unsuitable, distasteful, brash, ungentlemanly, a loose cannon, and much worse.

Trump has NONE of the characteristics of a politician and none of their nasty habits and is outside the loop of their increasing corruption.

We don’t even recognize our country any more, and it’s all due to our leaders, who are no longer even close to putting the welfare and benefit and love of our country first. All of that goodness in our country is made secondary to themselves, to their own political future, insider power and advancement. If that weren’t true, they too would have their warrior hat on, like Trump.

They would be screaming. None of them are screaming for the country! They are all speaking in low tones about basically business as usual, details of policy, showing their expertise, but none are in the shoes of the people.

Trump seems to get that fact, and it matters to me that he does.

I agree with you. But first we must have a candidate who can win. The William Buckley principle is that we elect the “most conservative” and “one who can win.” Trump is neither. Trump is playing us just like he does the viewers on The Apprentice. This is a global “reality” show for him, but not for us. Let’s face it. He has given wads of cash to Hillary; to Blasio, to the snake who is the Virginia governor, he is all over the place on Planned Parenthood; has said squat on gay marriage (which just a few weeks ago was burning up the pages of FreeRepublic) and now he goes on national TV and cannot articulate a coherent plan on how he proposes to implement his signature issue. He tells Christian Evangelicals that he does not need forgiveness for anything he has done. Great!
