Calling all low pressure sports experts, especially those with a sense of humor, to head on over and join this years' incarnation of the FReeper Phantasy Phootball Pick'em league.
It's fun and positively delicious to describe how wonderful this season will be when the judge rules Goodell sane and suspends Brady for 16 games, for trying to sully the good name of this most unblemished, virginal name in all of sports.
At least that was my dream last night, right before I awoke ;)

Ha! Yer gonna wake up with nightmares if that’s your dream!
I don’t remember seeing this last year...do all the usual folks like Bender2 and such inhabit the threads?

Invisible Church and a couple of others started the team every year until last year, when I was anointed as the G_d of all football knowledge. Or maybe the only one to volunteer, but I digress.
I am posting just to make FReepers aware of the game, in case anyone really likes fantasy football without the complexity. I generally don't post after football season starts and keep to the team message board.
I understand that Bender2 has joined us this year.
We have had as many as two dozen FReepers play on the team, and that seems to be a great number of folks.
We can still add more if you want to join us.

Nah, but I do like your new tagline.
Come over and add your accomplished name to our league.
Your wit would be very welcome.

I like football, but fantasy football never caught fire in me...I’ll bet the threads are fun, though...

It’s not really Fantasy Football. You have no team or such. It is just a “pick the winners” each week type pool. Lots of fun and friendly banter. It’s a blast.

Re:
The team number this year is 167 - "FINO - Football in NameOnly". Gadzooks, Texbo-- I'm already... in the league!
Really, Bendy-- You've been in bed with me before and I know... you are coming back again and again.
You're right, Amy-- I cannot dispute... that logic.
That is the pure beauty of logic... isn't it, Kirkie?

Hi...you had sent me the password a few weeks ago. I just signed up...my team name is the same as my FR handle.
I've done well with the yahoo nascar leagues in the past, regularly running in the top 99% except for the last season I played when I got bored and basically quit halfway through. Hopefully some of that will transfer over to football.
