I told you early on that if Walker wanted to be the nominee he needed to decide if he was on the side of the citizens or on the side of the illegal aliens and their employers.
He’s still waffling. That’s why he’s sinking in the polls. Somebody else has been clearly on the side of the citizens.

I remember that Rush was talking up Walker a lot a few months back. Was Rush promoting Walker to build up his sagging audience when he was doing that? It seems to me that Trump is making most of the news lately so it makes sense that Rush and other hosts talk about him more than the other candidates. I have not heard or read much anywhere about Walker, Kasich or Santorum lately. I have seen more articles about Fiorina, Paul, Perry, Huckabee, Jindal and Christie than those guys in the past couple of weeks. I think that Rush covers whatever is happening at the time and Trump has been what is happening the past few weeks. Perhaps when the other candidates do something to make news again Rush will talk about them more?
My wife asked me if I needed a sleeping pill last night. I told her to search for a Scott Walker speech. Always does the job.
I didn't notice any vanities when Rush was promoting Walker some months ago. I remember him saying things about Walker that would make other candidates blush, he said Walker had the blueprint for beating libs, had the record of accomplishment to prove it, etc., etc. Went on and on, zero criticism.
I also remember him speaking well of Cruz, he's never criticized him, not once. Cruz has been singled out often as the best in the Senate.
I do notice he doesn't think much of Jeb, but other than that, he doesn't go after GOP candidates in general (McCain and Jeb excepted), he lets the race pan out, let's the candidates make their case. He does subtly go for some and not others, but not the way you are saying here. I have never heard him endorse a candidate in the primary, he just doesn't do it, and he isn't doing it now.
His "love" for Trump is not too different from anyone here. He does kind of roll his eyes at some of the machinations, he does report how nothing in the democrat/media PC politburo has not worked. And it hasn't. So?
Trump is the story for Rush, because Trump has become the story everywhere. Rush comments on the days news, well the days news is Trump.
He's also delighted (like me, and most here) that the Donald has done what the entire GOP should have been doing for the past couple of decades, fighting back, belittling back, standing against the PC rulers of the day. And he's winning.
I see it in that way, he's delighted with what Trump has done to and for the race, delighted how he's outfoxed and out gunned the media, the GOPe, and the dems. You have an interesting take, some good points, but I simply disagree.
Maybe his audience is shrinking, but he has been #1 for over a quarter of a century, is totally deaf, and over came that, was hooked on prescription drugs, and beat that, and you think he is pimping Trump for a few ratings points?
I'm sorry that every election cycle, you pick a loser and then, like a starving dog with a bone, you can't let it go.
Show some real class and stop the incessant whining, Scott Walker will not be the next President, so please don't pick and then put your hex on Ted Cruz.

By your logic, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, FOX News, MSNBC, NY Times, Washington Post, LA Times and all the others desperately vying for Trump Time are also only doing The Donald to raise there rating.

I think there are real concerns, policy issues and the like, that could be raised about Trump.
Although, i am somewhat confuse because Trump didn’t create the mess we are in now. Trump created hundreds, probably thousands, of jobs.
WIth that comes a lot of wheel’n and deal’n. A lot of self promotion. Making lots of “friends” because you never know when you might need a favor.
Making enemies tends to be a negative in a business.
Maybe that is what is needed at this time in our sad history?
What has OUR side accomplished in the last 30 years? I thought we won the marriage battle. Next thing you know queers are getting stamped pieces of paper from the government decreeing they are married.
I thought ObamaCare was dead? Next thing you know everyone, but the policians who pushed it, are signing up for it.
Abortion went from rape, incest and the health of the mother to nearly infanticide.
WE can’t even stop the selling of body parts? Our taxes are likely indirectly paying for it!
Let’s hope whoever gets in FINALLY stops all this craziness.Although,the odds appear to be against it..if recent passed experience is a guide.
That’s why i am willing to take a chance on the WILD card.

The news keeps getting better for Donald Trump with each new poll.
In the latest, by SurveylUSA, the Republican presidential front runner is defeating Hillary Clinton and other Democrats in head to head matchups.

The primary difference, I think, is that Rush is truly impressed with how Trump handles his press conferences and general commentary and response to the press. Kind of like one professional respecting and admiring another.

Rush is fighting a war with the GOP elite and media elite the same as a lot of us here are.

I listen to Rush daily and have yet to hear him promote Trump. Rush doesn’t promote or allow bullchit and that’s mostly what his show is about. Since most of the bullchit seems to be thrown at Trump it pretty obvious he’s going to be discussed allot. I listened to him do the same for Rick Perry and Herman Cain when everybody was attacking them. Would you allow someone to say something about another that you knew was untrue? Rush took on the painted rock Rick Perry was being attacked for and explained how childish that BS was. Trump’s number one in the new’s and the front runner he’s going to get allot of attention.
Sadly, they’ve booth had a plethora of wives.
