Carly is simply the latest hope for a BULWARK to hold back the conservative tide forming among the electorate. It’s already washed over Señor Yeb and several other. The ruling elite are currently in a state of giddiness over Carly.

This new post on FR is a great tie in to Mark’s cutting through the elite BS.

Irreconcilable Differences (Good Read)

...There’s a huge chasm between the ruling class of American society and those over whom they rule. It’s not simply a disagreement over the direction of society. In many respects, the duty of the ruling class is to guide their subjects to the right policies. In a sane society, the people in charge are smarter and more knowledgeable so they better be more right than the masses.

No, the dispute today is over the nature of society and it is an irreconcilable dispute. The ruling class of today imagines a world that does not include a thriving, rambunctious middle class that participates in the decision making. They imagine a world that looks a lot like feudalism, where the people are kept, like pets or farm animals. It’s a world that cannot accommodate the English speaking world’s idea of a citizen.

I guess I missed the “lovefest.” I see her mostly being ignored by the press, which of course is hanging on Hillary’s every incoherent word.

However, I did read a really good article by a conservative female columnist this morning in which she said that the thing that she liked about Fiorina is that she wasn’t running “as a woman,” but just as a candidate, to be judged on her ideas and likely capacity to carry them out.

All of the other female Prez or VP candidates, of both parties, have done a little too much of this “vote for me, I’m a woman and I deserve it” or even the sort of “little spunky me” thing. We’ve had Ferraro (remember her?), Hillary and Palin, and I think they all lacked a certain level of seriousness in their campaigns. Like her or not, Fiorina is simply running as a candidate and not as “the first woman president.”

Of course, Barry ran as the “first black president,” and it helped him, but I don’t think it helps women as much.

Meghan McCain endorsed her, that’s when I finally woke up. I really wanted to believe in Carly, and I don’t have a problem with anything she said Wednesday night, but I’m finding more and more that the love fest is because the LSM feels she is eminently beatable in the general.

This is an old flim flam game. The media are going to push Fiorina until she actually beats out Trump...at which point they will destroy Fiorina.....and clear the way for a Dem.

I wouldn’t even be surprised if Bush is spending money supporting both Carson and Fiorina. He probably figures once the Donald is gone he can more easily deal with Carson and Fiorina.

Donald is not always at his best in certain circumstance, but hes optimistic and proven to be successful. Plus, he’s only one who talks about securing our border. I’m sticking with him..

Yeah, Mr. Levin knows a phony when he sees one. And doesn’t mince words either.

Rewind the tape and see how Michelle Bachmann and Sara Palin and Sharon Angle and other more localized women like Christine O’Donnell and Claudia Tenney were treated.

The hypocrisy is out there for all to see if they will look.

I like Carly especially when she is trashing Shrillary but I just don’t agree with most of her positions. She’s not going to overtake Trump. Not in this lifetime.

The Republican Establishment candidate, Jeb Bush, tanked more than a month ago, and all of the Establishment’s tens of millions and all of their support haven’t been able to put him back together again.

Meanwhile, the Republican Conservatives’ most favorite candidate, Ted Cruz, has never been able to rise out of single digits.

So who’s left?

According to polls, 93% of Republicans are familiar with Donald Trump, yet only 35% of them support him. Which means that 65% DON’T support him. And he failed to beat even Carly Fiorina in Thursday’s debate, then yesterday he became the subject of a big media-created brouhaha over the question of Obama’s possible Muslimism, and today he’s retreated from the whole political mess the Republican presidential race is fast becoming.

So who is left to pick up the pieces and try to win the presidency?

Ben Carson has many Evangelical, social Conservative supporters who can become a strong base, especially in the South and Midwest.

And Carly Fiorina has the ability, as demonstrated in Thursday’s debate, to attract many supporters, particularly if she’s given more media time to relate to people and get her views across than the tiny two-minute segments offered by debate formats.

Fiorina/Carson 2016...because, realistically, who else is there?

Notice that Mark Levin is being trashed on the RCP site (at the link) for his supposedly pro-Trump stand.

Personally I don’t know if Mark has made his decision on whom to support.

But in this video clip, all Mark did was pointing out those anti-Trump-sters had no problem switching support to Fiorina right after the debate, who only made her name RECENTLY by very vocally opposing PP.

If Trump is only good for one issue, then what of Fiorina?

Yes, Secretariat WAS a winning horse.
NO, Fiorina, in her ‘running season’ at HP and Lucent, did not ‘pay out the odds’.
Yes, Fiorina, by personal design, or by genetic gifting, does have that fleeting hint of equine facial qualities, and the impossibility to have lips able to be read by those hard of hearing, just like Mr. Ed’s. (thanks for CC formatting!)
Fiorina, having had attachments within the shadow world of international espionage, makes her NOT ‘the outsider’ she claims to be.
