Speculation continued late Thursday night that Congresswoman Renee Ellmers and Congressman Kevin McCarthy would resign Friday morning, GotNews.com has learned.
The possibility of a double resignation was discussed at the Media Research Center (MRC) dinner by Daily Caller editor-in-chief Tucker Carlson.
Several prominent lobbyists and staffers have confirmed that the rumors are flying all over Capitol Hill.

Yup, People are tired of having representation from folks who do a LOT OF TALKING and speech making but get real funny and shy when you press them on commitment...

Sorry, but I find this story very difficult to believe. McCarthy had his family with him when he announced he was dropping from his candidacy for Speaker of the House.

If anyone ever thinks they should let behavior like this slide because they are supposedly on our side, people carrying on double lives can be blackmailed. And democrats would do it in a heartbeat. We need to get rid of these people as soon as they are found, always.

I think it was the letter from Walter Jones to the committee chair. He asked that anyone running who had a skeleton in their closet please withdraw from the Speaker race. Jones is from NC as is Ellmers and her supposed relationship with McCarthy is not a secret here. I had a sick feeling it was most likely true when the answer to her lawyer’s cease and desist letter was “sue us, we stand by the story” and the next morning McCarthy withdrew.
She ran as a Tea Party candidate on a family values platform. McCarthy campaigned for her reelection. Against a well funded Democrat Clay Aiken.

She is a public servant. Her district has hundreds of thousands of people. They can find someone to replace her who can keep their eye on the ball.

Surrounded themselves on camera by "supportive" family is a reflexive response for adulterous and/or criminal pols. That's usually how you can tell they did it.
And Obama could turn around and support this country...
Please do not deal in Fantasies, what value would be provided by 2 adulterers ( presuming this is true)changing to a D except it prequalifies them for leadership roles there...
