Thanks to Rush Limbaugh. Does anyone really believe that the good doctor wrote any of this himself? I sure don’t.
I thought every one of the was elected to be in the Continental Congress?
Many of them had other elected political experience.
Whether or not Carson wrote it himself is not the point. The point is that all of us out here in the hinterlands have friggin’ had it with Washington and the “K” Street commandos. Out they go! Either peacefully or with extreme prejudice. It makes no difference.
Political experience is not a plus being a Constitutional Conservative matters most.
After reading this statement supposedly addressing his lack of experience, I didn’t read anything that showed he had any kind of background that prepares him for the job of the Presidency. Just a long, rambling statement of irrelevancy.
The signers of the declaration didn’t act Ike stoners when they were in debates either dr Carson
Everyone I heard who watched the debate thought gentle Ben was just a tad bit too chill
We do not expect that the designer of a vehicle have any experience in operating the vehicle. And Carson is wrong: many of the creators of the Constitution (versus signers of the Declaration of Independence) had a great deal of experience through guiding the states via the Continental Congress for 15 years until the Articles of Confederation was signed (1781), thence until the Constitution was ratified (1790), some 24 years later.
And even then, the complexity of life was far less than now. Carson is not admitting of the facets of executing the laws which the President faces today. Even Obama, in his initial ignorance, knew more of politics and government than Carson.
There's something not quite right here about Carson's philosophy of prerequisites for conduct of the Presidency by traditional cooperation with legislators rather than by Executive Orders, if I may say.
IIRC, several of the signers held public office.
Now....let's discuss those grain storage bldgs...aka....the pyramids.
>> every signer of the Declaration of Independence had no elected office experience <<
I find that highly surprising that none served in anything like a House of Burgess.
It’s getting to the point where I don’t care who wins the presidency in 2016 as long as it isn’t a politician.
Not that it has anything to do with being POTUS, but, hey..,you know.
“âYou are absolutely right â I have no political experience,â he bluntly acknowledged. âThe current Members of Congress have a combined 8,700 years of political experience. Are we sure political experience is what we need?â”
Love this.
A reasonable question might be, “What have you run?”
Based on his business dealings, his management ability is in question. And if he thinks the pyramids were built to store grain, his logic and ability to understand the real world are suspect as well!
