Don't be ridiculous. You are attempting to compare the rights of citizens to the pleadings of immigrants. They want to come here, in spite of their ideology's intention to overthrow us. I want a billion dollars, in spite of no prospects. See how that works?
It is a mistake to think of their rights as connected to our jurisprudence about "religion." They are a totalitarian warrior cult that dictates religious practice on pain of death. They have no choice. We are a free country and we adopted the concept of free will from our understanding of the JudeoChristian God, whom they do not recognize as we do; in fact, they deny the Personhood of Christ and the Holy Spirit, two parts of the triune God of Abraham recognized by 78% of our population. Nor does Islam define "peace" as we do. Islam's definition of peace is when all nations submit to Islam. Its enslaved practitioners have no more right to come here than do batallions of armed forces from communist nations.
Trump made no distinction. There's a big difference between what Trump said and what you wish Trump said.
