I think Trump won the nomination today

Posted on 12/07/2015 5:42:53 PM PST by springwater13

Everyone hates his proposal but the people. The uni-party, all the other politicians. Nobody else is supporting a common sense "pause" because they are puppets to their donors. It's a pretty remarkable thing. Watch his poll numbers go up.

He's brilliantly boxed everyone in. If you don't support the Muslim invasion, then you can't vote for anyone but Trump. Everyone is against his proposal even Cruz. He's in his own lane because he's not bought and paid for.

Learn what Al-taqiyya means.

It is impossible to understand Islam and Muslims by listening to their protestations against terror and their proclamations of patriotism for America. Usually, it is wise and fair to give people the benefit of the doubt but when it comes to national safety and the future of America, we had better look twice, even thrice at Muslim patriotism. Why? Because Islam permits lying! It is called Al-taqiyya. One Muslim said that Al-taqiyya means dissimulation then he expanded it to diplomacy but he should have gone further to deception. Now some Muslims who do not follow the Koran are as faithful Americans as any of us, but the problem is, we cannot know.

“You’re wrong, but you just refuse to see it.”

Well, that most certainly could be so. However, so could you. By the way....I engaged you on the statement “recent.” Now you mention “old.” Not the same thing at all.

Slavery was an acceptable practice in this country’s past, as was the import of slaves. Should we go back to that merely because it was done before? Our country’s past is replete with things we would never allow or do today.

IMHO you are engaging in logical fallacy to appeal to discredited old practices. Have a good night, and I truly do not mean you any disrespect. Please try to be the same way.

Trying to eliminate a specific religious affliation while allowing others is not going to fly.

You might tell Barky's INS that, because that's exactly what they are doing to persecuted Christians in the Middle East RIGHT NOW. If you don't believe that, look at the immigration statistics.

That's apples and oranges. I talked about immigration laws from the early 1960s and you're talking about slavery from 1800?

Can't you manage to stick to the topic?

Personally, I do not vision an America that can keep me out of the country because I happen to be a white male or a Christian.

Who's saying that?

No one.

You're over-reacting.

If M2T had said this they would be all over saying he was the smartest, bravest, strongest, candidate ever in our lifetime or maybe even all eternity.

But the fact is Ted ain't saying this, so there are limitations to M2T because there are places where Trump boldly goes that Ted can't go, even if Ted wanted to.

And I'm laughing at those who are all excited that Trump is running to the right to make Ted look moderate, as if that's a good thing. The irony of it is too rich, considering they have been knocking Trump for not being the true conservative that Ted is.

It started with that old f*rt Jimmy Carter, when he began excluding immigrants from our own cultural heritage and background, predominantly European in nature, and opened the floodgates to Haitians, Middle Easterners, Africans, Southeast Asians, etc., people from cultures very alien to our own.

Agree with most of what you wrote; but it was promoted by filthy traitor Ted Kennedy and was signed into law by Lyndon Johnson:

Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965

If Trump wins, there is no conservative movement in America.

If immigration wins, there will soon be no America.

Paraphrasing Martin Niemoller

Well, allow me to quote famed Jewish theoretical physicist Albert Einstein:

Being a lover of freedom, when the revolution came, I looked to the universities to defend it, knowing that they had always boasted of their devotion to the cause of truth; but no, the universities were immediately silenced. Then I looked to the great editors of the newspapers, whose flaming editorials had proclaimed their love of freedom; but they, like the universities, were silenced in a few short weeks. Only the Church stood squarely across the path of Hitler's campaign for suppressing the truth. the Church alone has had the courage and persistence to stand for intellectual and moral freedom. I am forced to confess that what I once despised I now praise unreservedly. --Albert Einstein

Trump is in negotiating mode. He's starting high to end up where he wanted to be, all along. He's a smart man; knows what is doable and realistic, and certainly knows how to make GOPe and lib heads explode.

Shh! Don't tell the lo-infos what he's doing. Make them have to read the book.

Senator Cruz is an educated conservative man, while Mr. Trump is just a demagogue shamelessly exploiting fear

This is like saying that an eagle is God's creation, but an airplane is just a human invention. Try taking a bird next time you need to fly somewhere.

Be careful what you wish for, because it would really suck if you were blocked from returning home after a vacation in the Bahamas because of a government-imposed ban on white males or Christians entering the country.

Don't be ridiculous. You are attempting to compare the rights of citizens to the pleadings of immigrants. They want to come here, in spite of their ideology's intention to overthrow us. I want a billion dollars, in spite of no prospects. See how that works?

It is a mistake to think of their rights as connected to our jurisprudence about "religion." They are a totalitarian warrior cult that dictates religious practice on pain of death. They have no choice. We are a free country and we adopted the concept of free will from our understanding of the JudeoChristian God, whom they do not recognize as we do; in fact, they deny the Personhood of Christ and the Holy Spirit, two parts of the triune God of Abraham recognized by 78% of our population. Nor does Islam define "peace" as we do. Islam's definition of peace is when all nations submit to Islam. Its enslaved practitioners have no more right to come here than do batallions of armed forces from communist nations.

I again submit that even Mr. Trump knows what he is saying to not doable and unwise, but he is more concerned in pleasing a crowd than doing something truly substansive other than rhetoric.

Projection. You hope that is what is happening because your fear that Trump will defeat your candidate has set your mind in stone; but throwing out your amateurish wishlist about what the Constitution doesn't say (but you wish it did to support your bias) won't make it so.

It has to do with whether I could legally accept an Obama Administration banning my entry into this country because I happen to be a Christian.

I take it you are not a legal, law-abiding citizen, then?

Personally, I do not vision an America that can keep me out of the country because I happen to be a white male or a Christian.

You are the only one on this thread "visioning" it. Thoughts have power. Control you mind and stand up for Christ; be strong in the Lord and stop believing you are entitled to political salvation. He never promised you a rose garden, nor a nation: "For the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." But here is what God did promise, in 2nd Timothy 1:7:

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
And then there is this:

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. -- James 1:12

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. --Romans 12:12

"I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." --John 16:33

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. --Phillipians 4:6-7

Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. --James 1:2-8

"Obama is NOT letting Christians from Syria in, but IS taking in young, well fed, Muslim MEN !"

And that policy is WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG! So why are you advocating the same policy with a different religion?

Because all religions are not the same nor equally valid; because immigration law is man-made and not scriptural; until you recognize the distinctions fully, you should hesitate to presume upon calling yourself a Christian.

"They will not ever assimilate. They will breed until they have sufficient numbers to disrupt our society..."

Exactly.... Once the Muslims have enough of their people here, they will be voting for their own.

Muslims Have More DNC Delegates than Montana, Utah and Oklahoma Put Together

Number of delegates for the Great State of Oklahoma - 50

Number of delegates for the Great State of Utah - 34

Number of delegates for the Great State of Montana- 31

Number of delegates for the Great State of Vermont - 27

Number of delegates for the Great State of Nevada - 44

Number of delegates for the Great State of Iowa - 65

Number of Muslim delegates - 100
