Once again the very desperate Donald Trump is trying to make a mountain out of a molehill, now suggesting that Ted Cruz is worse than Hillary “when you think about it” because of his filing mistake with respect to the loan he took out to fund his Senate campaign in Texas:

You know who else thinks Cruz is worse than Hillary? The Republican establishment.
I’ve said this before, that Trump fights exactly like the Republican Establishment fights when they have a conservative challenging a Republican incumbent. They will say anything to beat that conservative into the mud and defeat them.
And that’s exactly what Donald Trump is doing now.
He’s jumping the shark almost daily now and it’s pathetic.

Great guy, isn’t he? That’s what I keep being told.
Trump is unelectable. He loses an electoral landslide to Clinton, Biden, Brown, or whoever the Dems decide on. The demographics of his support are people who don’t turnout to vote. His unfavorables are higher than any other candidate, and despite his reality show name recognition, he will alienate most of the electorate before he is done.
I'm aware of that. However, to make the statement in any context that a clerical error on a form is somehow tantamount to Clinton's intentional compromise of reams of classified documents is beyond the pale. You and I both know that.
Sums it up for me. If you would have told me a year ago that half of freepers would be attacking Ted Cruz, when he was actually doing well heading into the primaries, I would have called you crazy.
Those of us who have been around and watched him since the early 80’s are not a bunch of suckers. For every compliment to a liberal or left leaning quip that people are digging up, he has done many conservative things over the years and conducted business with integrity. Most of the comments are what you would expect from a businessman getting along with people in his social circles, and being polite to powerful people that could help or hurt his business.
He tried to create an American Tour de France bike race, he pushed for and funded the NYC Vietnam memorial in the 80’s. He has always helped with and had great respect for veterans. He has given away large amounts of lands for charity and fixed the NY skating rink that the government was destroying.
He has donated money to liberals AND republicans almost evenly over the years, that is smart business. He’s not a perfect conservative but he’s a patriot.
Trump couldn't pass a middle school civics test. Saying that Senator McConnell could be Speaker? Not knowing what the nuclear triad is? Not realizing that Congress - not the President - can cut spending? We are in deep doo doo if this guy gets the GOP nomination.

It was about a super lawyer making a mistake for political reasons on a personal million dollar loan versus a secty of state making multiple mistakes on an illegal server.
In terms of severity, Hillary’s is worse.
In terms of playing fast and loose with the law, they are similar.
Claiming that a paperwork mistake by a first time candidate in an election campaign is worse than Hillary knowingly putting national security at risk is an atrocious thing for a GOP candidate to say. Do, you really think that the Cruz campaigns paperwork error was more important than Hillary setting up a personal server to receive to receive classified information?
At last, a common sense response to this.

Cruz supporters are beginning to piss me off.
I am beginning to wonder if they are not all closet Democrats sent to Free Republic to cause havoc.
I guess the best thing to so is simple ignore them.

Educate yourself. You deposit $1000 with a brokerage firm ( GS in this case ) and the broker will loan you up to $500 against the account.
It is automatic, there is no loan committee. They are giving you your own money back.
No favors, any broker does it.
