Not sure how this is a selling point...
If you’re a conservative, and you dare to utter even the merest suggestion that Donald Trump is anything other than a staunch constitutionalist, watch out. You’re about to be hit with a blast from the Trump loyalists’ artillery battalion. They can fire the word RINO at you 500 times in just under a minute, so it’s a formidable force.
It’s much easier to just sit back and let The Donald say things like this:
Trump says the establishment likes him better than Cruz.
The “ establishment “ and the real power brokers know Cruz can’t win , but they are afraid that Trump will either choose him for VP and therefore possible POTUS someday , or worse yet for Supreme Court justice , so they are tearing him down bigtime now to permanently damage any future aspirations or appointments .
I don’t know that Cruz is “nasty wack job”, but I damn sure know several of his supporters here an FR are.
A lot of banned FReepers went there and we would have discussions but the others that weren't from FR and had never had posting etiquette enforced were childish to the point that it was embarrassing. Now, FR has come close to replicating that over the Trump/Cruz tit for tat. It's embarrassing reading some threads on FR. The DU'ers must be having one hell of a laugh at us.
He also made an interesting point that the Keystone Pipeline would require the use of eminent domain to complete it.

I heard Trump previously speak on eminent domain. “It’s usually a win win for everyone” “The property owner gets many times fair market value” I think most of us can agree if someone wanted to buy our property for 3 times or more fair market value, we wouldn’t think twice about it.
I'm more concerned about the guy who can't get his story right on immigration/amnesty and flip flops on birthright citizen ship.
I'm not worried about Trump kicking my mom out of her house but I am concerned about illegals destroying my country.
I’ll put it on record here Teddy Cruz voted a big “Yes” for the Keystone pipeline ergo he’s for eminent domain.
I'm glad he said usually, cause that's not always the case. I'm in real estate here in Idaho and know of a situation where the county used eminent domain to grab a sliver of land to widen an intersection that grew woefully bad.
The government entity was trying to offer less than fair market value and someone in the real estate community stepped in and made sure they received what they should have.
That is how I'm torn on eminent domain in some cases as I know how bad this intersection impacted quite a large area. The traffic back up was ridiculous.
Well he did say he could shot people on the street of NY and not lose support so I guess it stands to reason that he could rip kitties heads off and he’d gain in the polls.

I have a problem with it. The 4 vacancies on the SCOTUS are going to be picked by the next President. I guarantee Trump will pick 4 liberals.
