Although we can certainly see a big difference between someone such as Ted Cruz, born in Canada but brought back to America as a toddler, and someone such as Arnold S. who was born overseas and became naturalized as an adult.
I guess I don’t see the big breach of integrity you speak of. Rubio was born and raised in America. Cruz was raised in America from age 2 onward. Realistically, nobody is going to stop either from running for president, unless courts get involved.
I don’t know if my responses in Posts 30 and 32 help. My point is that this needs to get resolved in a reasonable way that allows people to be properly vetted. I hate feeling bamboozled again by “our side” that just wants to pretend the rules count sometimes but not when it may hurt our guys.
